I liked the bed The hotel is run by children, none of whom are business minded or pleasant to talk to. There wasn't a single member of staff who could answer a query with a smile. Beautiful hotel unfortunately the same cannot be repeated for the staff.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful as were the staff serving breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel was ideal for us as we were visiting family nearby. I would definitely use this hotel again as it was very reasonably priced aswell.

Location, staff friendly and pleasant. Breakfast excellent, rooms clean and tidy, No pool, more facilities would be nice if weather is bad. Drinks can be expensive at the bar.

The atmoshere of the hotel was good, and some facilities were good but others were ordinary. The bedrooms were small and only suitable for singles staying over night, or couples with minimal luggage staying for the afternoon. The rooms had no space for suitcases, and the beds were small. The dinning room menu was average, and mainly pub food.

A surprising hidden gem on the ege of Wolverhampton, the hotel history was of great interest and the new refurbishment of the bar area blends well between the old and new. The Drawing Grill was a wonderful surprise, first class food in designer surroundings (the Chandelier is to die for). The food was fabulous and the chocolate tart I will remember for a long time. My room was clean and comfortable. The Ayala house champagne was great value.

I have stayed here before, four years ago when I was in a group from Wolverhampton University beginning a doctoral degree course. I came this week because I was graduating and thought it would be nice to end where I had begun and because the graduation was at 10am and I live a long way away from Wolv theatre. The hotel was perfect for our needs - comfortable, friendly and realistically priced. Also the English breakfast was much appreciated and well cooked. The experience was the perfect end to a difficult and lengthy academic journey.

The lady who served us at breakfast was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. There was no-one present to serve us at the bar in the evening. The room was nice but small and the outlook was a set of chairs and tables and the conference centre, dissapppointing as I am sure there were rooms available with a better outlook as the hotel was nearly empty. Reception wouldn't consider moving us despite problems with the tv which we fixed ourselves.

Absolutely adored the position of this hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Excellent location when working in a busy town. Will be using this again. Prices of food a little over-high but everything else - superb.

Staff were excellant could not do enough for you, the room was comfortable, although we did have ants which we did report on the first day, but was not enough to bother us. We stayed here because we were visiting our parents for their 60th wedding anniversary. The location was central and the hotel surroundings were very relaxing, food was very good and a great variety. We would certainly stay again.

The Mount is an excellent quality hotel, well appointed and comfortable, set in a picturesque 19th century manor house. The staff were very friendly and were always happy to help. The food we had was of a good standard. Our stay was a very pleasurable one and excellent value for money.

The price was very reasonable, close to wolverhampton town centre. Taxi cost £6.00 Room rather small and double bed wasn't the comfiest and again felt small. Shower wasn't working, so had to wait for maintenance, which meant I couldn't have a shower when I wanted. Also the breakfast wasn't full english, (Was a strange egg, sausage, bacon, tomoatoes, and mushrooms- no beans or hash browns- which was a little disapointing)

The friendly, responsive and professional qualities of the staff. My bath was perfectly safe and clean but the enamel was chipped in at least one place.

Very beautiful building. Staff were great. Really friendly. Nice quiet location in lovely grounds. Stopped over on trip up north to see friends. Good breakfast! Room could have done with a bit of tlc.It was a little bit 'worn and torn' but warm and clean with comfortable bed. Bathroom v cold, and taps wobbly but lots of hot water and fine for one nigh.

Excellent staff and good location for my purpose. Good value for price. Rooms need updating. Haven't seen such a small old fashioned flat screen tv for years. Beds passed their best for comfort.

“This hotel is ultra modern, close to local amenities, the staff were very polite & helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and as it was on the 10th floor the view was stunning, however as this was a twin room I do think that there should have been 2 complimentary bottles of water in the fridge and not one. I would recommend this hotel. There was ample to choose from at the buffet breakfast.” Yvonne, Birmingham |
