From the minute you arrive at reception till the day you check out you are treated so well. Would definately make a return visit.

Our stay was too short if you can call that a complaint! ! !

Pam and Dave who run the hotel were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. The room we had was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, the on-suite wasn't the biggest but very clean with everything that you need. The residents lounge area was one of the best I've seen, it was very well done and comfortable and there were various dvd's that you could watch if that's what you wanted to do and a bar area. There was also a goode choice of breakfast.

Hotel furnished to high standard especially. Warm welcome and excellent breakfast!

From checking in to checking out, the staff were always friendly and helpful. We chose the small room and this was adequate for the purpose of our trip. The facilities were good, with access to plenty of DVD's for those rainy days and a comfy lounge area. Breakfast was very nice and had a good selection. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent choice for breakfast, home made smoothy delicious. Good to have bar so option of an evening drink. Internet access good.

Their non refund policy. I had to pay for 5 nights on arrival and was unable to obtain a partial refund when my circumstances changes - booked Mt e to be near Torbay Hospital to visit sick relative but found as soon as I went to my room and made a call that my relative had passed away and I now needed to be near her remaining family.

Very nice hotel, breakfast kept me full all day, staff and other guests were very friendly and would look forward to returning one day. The revues were spot on and it certainly paid us to look at these before booking. Didnt get to try the evening meal or the bar, but its there if you need it.

Mount Edgecombe was perfectly placed for our needs and was at a reduced rate due to an offer the hotel was running. The inclusive breakfast was excellent in both range and quality and did indeed set you up for almost the entire day. The off road parking was adequate and the owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly making our stay a very pleasant and worthwhile experience.

The shower head was in a fixed position quite high up on the shower cubicle wall and my wife found this slightly inconvenient as she prefers to be able to detach the shower head to hold in her hand.

Hotel was very comfortable, room was lovely, bed wonderfull, bathroom to die for, food fantastic, a very warm and freindly welcome, loved it, would go back for sure,

The Mount Edgcombe is a great place to stay if you want good quality and value for money we had a great stay on the mount edgcombe suite which has a wirlpool bath for 2 ans a double shower toiletries ,towls, and robes were provided The food was freshly prepared daily and sourced locally the three course dinner recomended bed was very comfortable with high quality thread count bedding

The hotel was very clean and welcoming.The staff were very friendly and we only had to ask for anything we required but the situation did not arise as everything we needed was provided.We had a quite large double room with a kingsize bed which was very comfy.We would like to thank Pam and David for a very pleasant stay.

We had no complaints whatsoever.

Very clean and comfortable...run by a very friendly couple...lovely breakfasts,didn,t try the evening meal,,,still full up from breakfast!...would love to return next year..

The staff at mount edgecombe were very friendly and helpful, in particular when requiring info about the best things to see and do in torquay. The room was comfortable with all the ameneties that you need. We stayed at the edgecombe suite the spa bath and double shower were amazing. Would happily stay at mount edgecombe again.

The only downside was that breakfast was limited to being served between 8.15 - 9.15
