The lovely welcome from David and Pam (and Crystal). The brightness of the bedroom which although on a main road was very quiet. The gorgeous breakfast and ordering the night before so there is no waste.

Very comfortable room and good facilities. Had room 3 - was exceptionally clean, Staff very attentive and kind. Lovely breakfast choices and the full English was cooked to perfection.

A lovely modern hotel decorated to a very high standard. Car parking & bus services first class. Five minutes walk to the sea front .Staff friendly & helpfull , breakfast offers a large choice of fine food & service

nothing that could have improved my stay

We were made to feel very welcome, the room was comfortable with two archairs to relax. If there was a problem, one only had to mention it and it was dealt with very quickly.

Fantastic stay. Staff were like family by the end. Stayed 17 nights. Single woman traveling with 2 yo toddler. Pam and David really looked after us. They found toys for my little boy to play with, his own cutlery for breakfast and even tucked his Teddy into bed when they made it each morning. This was the best place I have ever stayed!!

The owners were very friendly and helpful, the bedroom was large and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the on suite was beautiful. The Dinning room, TV room and Bar was well decorated and very inviting. Breakfast was lovely. On site parking was a bonus. Overall I could not say one negative thing about The Edgcombe, our stay with them was perfect thank you.

Staying in Torquay this is the place to stay, we tried it and it was excellent, and we have been around a few in our time, Thank you Mount Edgcombe.

Welcoming and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good (excellent choice). Nice Dining Room. Good parking facilities. Close to sea front and town.

We liked the very friendly welcome and service provided by Pam &Dave the owners,they made us feel very welcome and were a mind of information about torquay and the surrounding area.The food was excellent ,the room very comfortable,the area was nice,overall we had a very nice three days and would recommend mount edgcombe strongly to anyone looking to spend some time in Torquay and surrounding area.

pam and david were very friendly and attentive hosts the evening meal was plentiful and very tasty also the breakfast choice was excellent beds were very comfy and room immaculate will be going back again soon

The room was spotless and large. The bed was super king size and was so comfortable.The staff were very nice and the food was excellent.

The owners were very helpful & friendly. We booked the small double room, but on arrival they had kindly managed to upgrade this at no extra cost. The breakfast choice was good & the quality of food presented was excellent. We stayed for dinner on one evening and that again was of an excellent standard.

Our every desire was met, our room was stylish, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely every morning- even when I accidentally chose 2 breakfasts for the morning-it was prepared without a question. What really made our break so lovely was the warm welcome and even help on touristic attractions. Mount edgcomb really is a little gem and I would recommend anyone to go and stay there.

The first impression was this appears to be a nice place, this was endorsed by the friendly greeting we were given by the owners, Pam& David Cole.The rooms were very comfortable and clean,Breakfast choice covered every individual taste, and plenty of it. Our overall impression was one of good location, good food, excellent amenites, and great host,s. If we had one regret it was that we could not extend our stay,, when we next head for Torquay it will be to Mount Edgcombe.
