Room was excellent; 5ft bed, 3-piece suite and still more floor space. En-suite was enormous with separate shower(big) and bath(big) with lots of shelves to lay stuff on. All staff very pleasant and helpful and they smile! Location was perfect for going South and very quiet which was surprising, considering the hotel location beside a busy road. Really, really pleased with the value for money aspect - £99/room for B&B.

Very friendly staff, nice bar and other seating areas, great room with the extra sky sports channels a bonus The wireless internet signal was especially weak, had to go into to corridor to pick it up and kept losing it in the room

We stayed in a Junior suite (Rm 285) which was brilliant. For once a web- site description undersold the reality. King size bed with full tempur matress not mentioned - a superb surprise! Wifi really did work as well! We had two lovely nights.

Great hotel, fabulous service, good food, superb rooms (especially if you et one with a waterbed). Overall excellent value for money, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Once you get to know the layout your ok, for a first timer, I found the corridors a little confusing and I struggled to find the lift and stairs to get to my room.

I consider the Best Western Mount Pleasant to be the one of the nicest hotels in Yorkshire we staying in an executive room and it was really nice, in fact so nice, we did not go out at night because we just wanted to stay in and enjoy the room. We have visited this hotel two or three times now and have always been extremely happy.

All aspects of our stay were excellent, we took away some brochures for our freinds who we have recommended to stay at one of the best places we have stayed at in the uk. As a regular weekend/weekday breaker we were very pleased and happy. We would be most interested in weekday/end break deals as they occur please. KEN & JANET BALL.

Excellent service from all staff and very helpfull. Rooms spotlessly clean and spacious! Only one comment the breakfast(full English) appeared to have ben pre cooked and only just warm!

the helpfulness of the staff generally Efficient Reception Food breakfast was good so was a late night snack. It is too big 172 is a huge room with tiny twin beds 150 paces from reception The shower is a good idea but the actual showering space is small and a bath as well is too much The towel rail is fitted out of plumb The towels were very nice.
