Very clean and comfortable room and excellent service, will use again if in the area It was a bit difficult to find as my Sat Nav didnt recognise the Brittons Hill Address, I had to ring the hotel for directions and the name of another road to put in my sat nav |

The only hotel I've lived in with a peacock on the breakfast terrace. Excellent food. A lift would be nice. |

Excellent accommodation close to the centre of the town. The short steep 1 in 5 hill leading up from the main road! |

The hotel rooms and restaurant were very well appointed and clean. The decor was tasteful and appropriate. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was cooked beautifully but wasn't quite as generous as I would expect, but that's a very minor point as there was an excellent buffet breakfast also available. |

Loved the hotel decor in bedrooms and generally. I had a fantastic view of the sea and Mount St Micheal from my room. Car parking was awful! Extremely barrow car park and hard to get out of. One member of our party asked for some clothes to be dried for which we were charged. I was a bit surprised at this as no cleaning and staff did not indicate that this service would incur a charge. |

Friendly, helpful staff; comfortable room & good facilities therein. However, as we were only there for about 12 hours (off train at 9pm and departed at 8.30am to catch Scilly Isles ferry), we had no opportunity to enjoy the hotel very much - hence above are first impressions only In room 1, we noted a rather unpleasant - though not excessive - smell in the shower, which was probably from the drain. Should be resolved to avoid further adverse comment. |

Helpful staff - certainly the young chap who was the customer services person. Very helpful and cheery.Lovely hotel with great breakfast, facilities etc. I did not think the price of the room or the decor in the room was reflective of what we got. We paid £150 per night and asked to move rooms as we had a very small room to start with. Friends of ours who went also paid the same and had a much bigger room. This was a little disappointing, but I would stay there again. |

Food and service were excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room had excellent views of St Michaels Mount and the town. The room was comfortable and very clean. Plumbing could have been a little better - it wasn't bad, just could be better. |

Clean rooms and bathrooms with enough towels etc. Shoer in the bathroom - just didn't have a good shower - very weak and water kept switching between hot and cold. |

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location (up a steep hill) in walking distance of town centre, harbour and art galleries, and with easy access for railway station. Good views over bay, town and harbour. Excellent food, but necessary to book for dinner as the restaurant is open to non-residents. |

Excellent location overlooking St. Michael's Mount and very central. Complementary afternoon tea on arrival. Restaurant food was very good. We found the service in the restaurant was quite poor. It took far too long to take our dinner order, and then there was a lengthy delay between courses. More annoying was the fact that some guests who arrived after us received their meals well before us. |

The staff were friendly, the food was good and the view was excellent. Nice building too. The shower in room 21 was the only negative point. The water changed temperature randomly, there was no fixing on the wall to hang the shwer head and there was no shower curtain. |

I was going to a business meeting next morning, but the hotel allowed my wife to use the room and all facilities until I got back around noon, with no extra charge. They were really kind. |

The service was friendly and extremely efficient. The room was comfortable, very clean and good value for the money. The restaurant was terrific - breakfast included gourmet selections, not just the standard "full English." One reason I chose the hotel was that it advertised free wifi. This turned out to be only 1/2 hour every 24 hours, and there was an extra charge for more time. Also I felt that sometimes as a single woman I was not always treated equally in the restaurant, though it depended on who was working that particular shift - some staff members were very helpful and considerate, others less so. |

Views from the room were breathtaking - across St.Michaels Bay down to the Lizard.( need to specify a sea view room) Dinner in the Bay Restaurant was excellent, and value for money. The parking spaces are limited and are on a very steep hill !! |
