upgraded to superior room, was much better standard and was dealt with promptly. Had requested a smoking room, however even though I am a smoker was surprised at how poor the room was ventilated. Had to request a non smoking room. |

Superb friendly service - lots of smiles and offers of help... Even the cleaning ladies! Doesn't look much from first impressions, but it has a subtle charm that grows on you. Small yet sufficient, clean and pleasant.... A great night sleep and cracking breakfast! Out-dated bar, hallways and rooms - decor and furnishings are a little reminicent of what I imagine to be the originals? This is not to say that they are overused in any way however, everything seems to be well kept and maintained. Original room tariff seems a little too expensive - wouldn't have gone there without reduced rates, although from my (cheaper) experience - very good value for money! |

The room and full breakfast The bed was too soft and there was only one bath and hand towel for the 2 of us, even though 2 of us were booked in. Inconvenient to ask for another set. |

The rooms were adequate and the TV showed Sky Sports, a definate plus to travelling workers. I thought the quality of the food at breakfast could be improved. The sausage was tasteless, the eggs were lying in a pan of water and the bacon was of very low quality. |

The easy location Staff and Breakfast was excellent. However, the room was very small with an inadequate shower over the bath, very poor lighting over mirror and no storage space i.e. shelf in bathroom. The mattress was lumpy and the carpets going up the stairs to room 15 and in the room were badly stained and threadbare. |

Service from the hotel employees was excellent, the Breakfast was freshly cooked rather than a buffet, and was all decent food. The communal areas were all clean and tidy. The Car park is a little inadequate (read tight) for a hotel of this size, and is on a bit of an incline (not for the faint hearted). The matress in our room was perhaps a little too soft for comfort (ours anyway), and we often ended up rolling to the middle. |

The service, particularly from Josh, the view and the restaurant for breakfast The bed was a little soft as you could feel it's base, the extractor fan in the bathroom was noisy and I would have liked internet access in my room. |

We were most impressed with the hotel and the service and would most certainly book again if we are in the area The only disappointment is that the swimming pool was not available at the time of our visit |

Nothing.Had to move rooms 3 times. Problems e.g. windows wide open & no heating switched on on freezing night. Changed rooms -no heating & TV not working.3rd room was for smokers so all windows open.Cooked breakfast poor & cold. Waiting staff helpful had to complain to get any other egg option than cold scrambled. Wont be going back. |

Receive a warm welcome from this hotel close to the M4 and 3 miles (4.8 km) from Cardiff city centre. There is easy access to local business parks and Cardiff’s attractions. |
This hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the city's prime business and shopping district, and is adjacent to the Cardiff International Arena. |
We have been at The Manor House for 14 years now, it is a great place to stay for a year or one night. |
Ideally located within walking distance of Cardiff's vibrant city centre, this charming Victorian property has been refurbished as a comfortable, modern guest house. |
