comfy beds,clean rooms

didnt like that we had loads of stairs to climb to get to our room

Apartments were very stylish, clean and well thought out. Central location, good for getting out and about, and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We had a studio and there was plenty of room. Permit parking was a great bonus.

The Mowbry Apartments are in a great central location. They had excellent facilities for a relaxed self catered holiday. The owner was very helpful.

The bed was a little uncomfortable (I would recommend investing in mattress toppers). The blinds on the windows didn't keep the sun out so we were woken up very early.

Travelling as a group of friends we all found the reception we received on arrival very friendly and helpful. The apartments were very clean and stocked with tea,coffee etc with equipment to cook full meals if required. Could easily cater for longer stays. There were ample clean towels in the ensuite with hot water as required.

Parking can be difficult but for holiday resort to be expected and free resident passes are available on booking in on arrival

me and my girlfriend stayed here for valentines day, it was amazing value for money! we really enjoyed everything about it, great location, right in the middle of the promenade, near to the the spa and right on the beach front. it was very clean and surprisingly very modern, suited me right down to the ground. i really enjoyed it and will be looking to come back again.

the only bad thing about our stay was that there wasn't a dvd remote, that is all

We were welcomed by a helpful guy (owner ?) who helped us get parking sorted. Or accommonadtion was nice and warm when we arrived on a cold damp day.

Friendly, more like a home from home. When help and understanding was required it was freely given.

It was close to everything and very clean and our sat was very comfortable

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Mowbray apartments. The room was great and it was extremely handy having a cooker in the room. Location was perfect for the beach, countryside and the amusement parks. Short commute by car to York. We can highly recommend the Mowbray to anyone wanting decent accommodation at an affordable price.

There was nothing we did not like.

spacious room with everything needed for a short break. TV, DVD Player, Hairdryer, well equiped kitchen etc. Nice view of the sea.

Area was a tad 'noisy'. Very close to Funfair, Amusment arcades and loud music Pubs and Bars. Parking can be difficult and we were on the third floor of the apartments (No lift) so might be tricky with small children or the elderly. Very uncomfortable bed, rubbish shower and it took ages for hot water to come though. Rooms are also very noisy and can hear everything from other apartments. A bit overpriced at £65.00 per night

mowbray was right next to all the entertainment & the sea.The apartments was comfatable & very clean also had everything you needed.

Everything, great stay clean rooms. Brilliant sea view, will definitely return.

That there no disable facilities to many stairs to room and to bath room and as being disabled it was hard and left me in more pain

When we first went into our room I was shocked at how great it looked. The proprieter was a really nice helpful guy. My daughter, grandaughter used the double bedroom (which seemed to be soundproofed) I used the settee bed. The apartment was very airy and fresh with fresh towels and the the kitchen area was very compact but well equiped. I got booked this apartment online, it was the first one I looked at and am glad I did now. there was also a great beach view from our room.

The only problem I had was I was so cold sleeping on the settee bed, I had to move it to the centre of the room away from the window, I also ended up put bath towels on top of my duvet to try and keep warm It was to late at night to contact the owner for more blankets so I guess its a bit my own fault.

Too many stairs when e thought we book a bottom room as we had 2 disable guest

It was a nice break and will be coming back again , customer service was good and I even took my rubish out cleaned up my self before I left , thank you for having us and will be back there. Again very soon :) .

The shower , its so relaxing after you've been walking most of the day.

Liked everything especially the sea view

Excellent apartments, perfect location and room was everything we wanted

Carpets (were clean and in a good condition) but didnt match the modern style of the rooms furniture. Probably work in progress because everything else looked brand new

Very clean comfortable room very convenient location. Only negative was the noise when others flush their toilets
