Clean and well maintained. Efficient breakfast service with attentive staff ready to refill your coffee, even had a guide for busy times at breakfast at reception.
Room air was not ensuite- although to be fair to the hotel I only booked online 1hr before and got the last room. Being so close to the tube line -but again that can't be helped.
The majority of the staff were really helpful and friendly. The house keepers did a nice job.
The walls were paper thin so you could here everything that was going on on your floor... EVERYTHING. Shower overflowed every time I used it. No Aircon or windows for the summer season so it was stuffy and hot!
Staff and good breakfast thats all....
Don`t go even if its cheap or as your last resort. It is nothing like on the website. Stayed on a warm summer night and though the heating was off the pipes were hot throughout the night producing heat in my room. The room, carpet, bathroom you name it is old and uncomfortable to stay in. Place smells of old and dingy. I could`t wait to vacate the next day even though I had originally booked for 4 nights.
too old and not clean
room small and dingy, very disappointing considering amount spent on room. Definitely would not recommend!!!!
The location is excellent, the hotel is easily accessible and very close to Earl's Court train station and other numerous retail outlets. The staff in the breakfast room are helpful and dutiful.
The room I stayed was not comfortable, it is very small without a/c or table fan! The bed is also very small, one can hardly turn. The amount taken from my account to block my reservation has not been returned up till now. Noise from the train station is another big issue and I had to queue to use the shared convenience. The staff at the reception should also be more friendly.
Location&price The reception staff were helpful and nice especially the British guy (-: and the woman
Decor and old room. Breakfast needs to be improved and open later.
Great location, near underground
The particular room we were given was poor for the money I paid - I was shocked. It was dark, unpleasant and old fashioned, but worst of all was the noise of water running down the pipes outside our window every time someone used water/toilet in the rooms on floors above.
It was nice and close to Earls Court tube station It was cheap for London. 24 hour access.
Having to turn the mattress round to avoid the spring in my back, then finding a discarded pop bottle under the mattress. Being so close to the station. It was really stuffy in the room. Bathroom was tiny.
There is no such thing!
We saw pictures on the website and we thought is an excellent hotel, excellent location bottom line great value for money. When we got there we were extremely dissapointed! Our room 94 was three houses down the road on a basement, with the cheapest double bed I've ever sleep, I literally slept on a MDF board with a mattress. Minutes after arrival we've been scared by the loudest smoke alarm I've ever heard in our room. The receptionist didn't even bother to apologize just came to the fuse board to stop the alarm. I asked him what is going on and he told me "I hope you didn't smoke in your room". I said NO I'm not smoker! I asked him if there is any posibility for an upgrade as I'm not happy to sleep in a basement. He told me exactly this: no rooms available, if you don't like the room you can check out now, but I'm gonna keep the money" I think this guy was by far the rudest hotel staff I ever met. I would like to upload some pictures with our room
cob-webs & dust everywhere, carpets not vaccumed, equiped with very old furniture, no soap for bathroom or shower (the soap dispenser was empty). Curtains probably not washed in over 20 years. Very pokey with not much space - We've stayed in better Hostels and this was supposed to be a hotel.
After the first night in the basement we were given another room the next day that was of a much higher standard. The staff were friendly enough to accommodate our wishes. They were generally very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and clean towels/duvet covers.
When we arrived we were handed the room in the basement. We did not like the room at all, it smelled of mold, the bathroom was moldy and in a very poor condition. They need to sanitize the bathroom. No air condition in the hotel.
Due to a travel delay I had to stay an extra night in London, booked online and turned up 20 mins later. Central location at Earl's Court, cheap room rate. Wifi was really good! Value for money, I didn't even know you could get that cheap in Central London area per night.
No air con, stuffy room (was there during their warm period). Small cubicle bathroom. Very outdated decor but I really didn't expect more for the money I was paying.
Location is good
It was not clean, poor facility, small....
The staff was friendly The girls serving breakfast were beautiful Russians Decent "non-tourist" restaurants were nearby The tube was nearby
Room was small Bed was small Bathroom was small Shower was small No outlets for recharging electronics - I had to unplug the TV and use that outlet The breakfast selection sucked
Close to tube, shops and restaurants
Small room, bathroom
No toilet roll Very basic
Smell in basement
Very good location. Fast check in, without ID. Fast lift, broad stairwell. Clean room. WIFI free in lounge. Breakfast included in a good restaurant.
Breakfast coffee was strange filter type but everything else was fine.
Close to tube station. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
So close to tube station I could hear the announcements of trains from my window. Old, smelly, last updated was about 1970! Dirty
comfatable bed, clean sheets and towels everyday, central location.
no bar or kettle in room to make a drink, no airconditioning room very stuffy
Good value if you consider location, breakfast staff are friendly.
A noisy street, obviously the hotel cannot do much about this.
