We were greeted well by Tina and Rachel who made us feel very welcome, and as well as the quality of the rooms and service we also liked the location Not a single complaint about the hotel. Must say that the google map misled us into thinking that the hotel was in White Stubbs Lane |

It would be hard to write 15 words. The room altough quite small was clean, there was only one chair the window was small,the area was pretty and very quiet,the impression that we could get an evening meal was wrong they would phone for a very expensive take away. The lack of staff we had to wait on the door step for nearly an hour there were no members of staff anywhere. We only gained access only after we phoned you up and via other phone calls we eventually made contact with the hotel owner who gave us the door code. I would think that a hotel such as this would have staff available to greet guests. |

it was a wonderful location in the tranquile hertfordshire countryside. I found the staff very friendly and obliging. The room was calming and sophisticated. Very clean and yummy hearty english breakfast. |

Staff were friendly Facilities were not good, bulb missing in lamp, bathroom extractor fan did not work, room door did not lock. All except the fan were repaired next day but should not have been broken when we arrived |

We received a friendly welcome, the hotel was comfortable and clean and we got a great weekend deal! Be prepared to drive everywhere - we attempted a walk along the road the first morning, and it wasn't really pedestrian friendly. |

Massive bed, clean room, tranquil surroundings, excellent customer service. Our room was cold and the bathroom as freezing on arrival, it would have been nice if it were warm on arrival. A mini-bar would have been nice too but apart from that, no negative comments at all. I was surprised (pleasantly) that there is somewhere so close that once yore there feels like youre miles away from anywhere. |
