The overall historic and antique atmosphere of the premises and of facilities made available, including dining room, library, billiard room, Victorian steam shower; also the generous breakfast; and the engaging and obliging character of the proprietor.
Debit or credit card would be more convenient than cash payment, but this does not detract from the unique charm of this establishment.
14th Century manor house full of history and interesting features. Great host Louie Kelly and delicious breakfast!
Stairs were a bit of a challenge for 70 year olds!
Our stay at mullaghmore house was really relaxed. Our host Louis was great and gave us a great tour,a little history of a very old property and the best breakfast and coffee going
Not being able to take more time to enjoy the reading room
Excellent accommodation. The staff were friendly and helpful. Louie the host was very pleasant and made you feel like you were at home. The food was excellent. The room was clean and had everything you would expect in a B/B.
The bed was amazing regarding comfort! The best for comfort anywhere in the world!
Mullaghmore is like going back in time but with all mod cons the restoration of this house is to the highest standard and if you appreciate antiques then this is the place to stay the host Mr Kelly was very kind and hospitable and if there was anything you needed he would oblige, it is great value for money and very comfortable and if you plan to stay in the area I would highly recommend it.
Good breakfast, bespoke room with unique heritage, like being a guest at a country mansion. Secure ample parking, comfortable beds and excellent sleep, very friendly hosts. Great place to visit, would love to return.
Good location, off the A505, close proximity to historical sites and to Omagh. Lovely host and lovely comfy accommodation.
Fascinating old house filled with antiques and wonders. Terrific breakfast.
Only that the breakfast-room too quiet, needs a radio.
This historic home was Amazing...the antiques and architectural touches were a joy to take in. I was not the only guest taking pictures of the (in my case) shared bathroom. The owner was engaging and most helpful with information of local sites to see.
Our night there was so special we didn't expect this at all. The owner couldn't be nicer and funnier. The house had a unique character - it was like a little museum with a real history. The owner was really happy to present his house. The breakfast was delicious.
Beautiful old house. Friendly people.
No black pudding with breakfast ;-)
Quiet.breakfast. wi fi. friendly owner and v welcoming.
The House itself was a 1 off....rolling in history, lots of charactor... a must stay property.....
Everything: Mullaghmore House is run a bit like your own house, except, way bigger(assuming you don't live in a Mansion). Nothing too formal. There are fewer and fewer places like Mullaghmore House, where 'The Main Man', Louie, takes a "genuine" personal interest in your comfort and wellbeing. My view is, that if you like Mullaghmore House, you're probably normal. If you don't, then you may have issues and expectations that are unrealistic.
Friendly, bedroom cleanliness and good food
First impression on arrival old and dated but after entering bedroom all ok as all the comfort you require is there.
Friendly staff proud of home run tour for students because of age of House.Lovely old house and furnished to suit.
A bit wary of the stairs
Nothing to dislike here, friendly, helpful, excellent breakfast!
quirky little spot no hassel very close to city centre , if you want somewhere quiet and peaceful this is the place.. owner is cool and funny ... will be back
Such an interesting place with so much to see--like a museum. Plus, a fantastically entertaining host!
I appreciated the historical atmosphere of Mullaghmore House...it's quaint and the owner was very helpful to me in helping me get around the area. The location was great for me.
atmosphere in house
Excellent value Very Friendly staff Decent location Very nice well kept house with plenty of antics. Good meals
Wi-fi a little too slow
The owner was a great character. Very easy to get along with, very informative and so obliging. There was a lovely athmosphere in the house and overall a very good experience. It was our anniversary and the owner left flowers, chocolates and a lovely card in our room on arrival. What a lovely surprise, and so thoughtful. We would definitely return.
