Excellent Breakfast Selection . Slightly disappointed that at the Evening Meal the Menu was the same. My Wife loved the surrounding Garden. i was taken ill on our first night - My Wife asked for help-very quick response by members of the Staff including the Joint Owner and a former Nurse taking me to the nearest Hospital and where I had excellent treatment . Many members of the Staff asked how I was getting on during the balance of our Staff. They could not have been more helpful and friendly. Unspoilt pretty village with lots of history in architecture and only coat of arms to Charles 1 st . Good local store, newsagents and hairdresser amongst others. Rooms are dated and small and not very clean. Completely not what I expected and feel the cost was far too high for the standard of the hotel. Wouldn’t recommend and unsure how this passes as a 3 star hotel.
