Friendly staff and freedom of house
Lovely views from a triple aspect bedroom. Quiet and peaceful. Wonderful host who welcomed us, as muddy cyclists, with tea and home made cake. Brilliant hosting throughout our stay. Undercover storage for bikes. Very close to the Cheshire Cycleway. First class breakfast with quality ingredients. Highly recommended.
Excellent accommodation, lovely setting, peaceful and quiet.
Kate the landlady was very welcoming, helpful, friendly and very flexible to our needs regarding breakfast time and departure time especially. Excellent value for money and well worth a stay if you are ever in the area. With only two guest rooms you do get the personnel touch as well so well worth the visit.
I only have two minor criticisms and one is not the fault of the B&B. Regards sausages, I do not know what it is about many B&B's, guest houses or hotels that the sausages somehow are not the best. My other criticism is the minor problem of finding the place via tomtom post code. One route was fine but another took us past the Mulsford Lane location and out to a place called Wallington I think its called, which is probably a post code council issue rather than the B&B's fault.
Kate, the owner was very attentive. Lovely quiet location & Breakfast was spot on.
We were made very welcome from the start. We had a most enjoyable stay and the food and accommodation were excellent. Our dog was also made most welcome.
The friendliness of the proprietor who was very attentive. The peace and quiet of the area. The friendliness of the dog which made you feel at home and the coffee offered on arrival. Would certainly recommend this B & B
The size of the shower room which was tiny to say the least. Double duvets should be used for the single beds, didn't sleep well at all.
Kate is an excellent hostess who makes you feel immediately at home. An accomplished cook, her breakfasts and the evening meal we had were perfect. Our bedroom had three windows looking over fields into the distance. If you want peace and relaxation, Mulsford Cottage delivers. Thank you Kate. We look forward to returning.
We were made to feel very welcome, as was our dog, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We had the double room which was lovely. Breakfast amazing and top quality. Lovely gardens.
Lady owner was very friendly the breakfast was superb couldn't fault anything well worth it.
Nothing, everything was brilliant!
I stayed for two nights in the twin room. Panoramic countryside views. A proper bed, deep and compfy. The food was of very high quality... Not cheap rubbish. A very pleasant place.
Lovely, quiet location. Excellent, attentive host Delicious, substantial breakfast
Very friendly owner . Always ready to make one feel at home.Lovely Breakfasts with all tastes catered for. Very comfortable bedroom and lounge/dining room with Old World Charm atmosphere. An excellent place to relax and enjoy.
Shower room a little on the small side. Couldn't get wi fi connection in bedroom.
Very friendly fantastic breakfast lovely room
Couldn't use the wi fi in the bedroom .out of range.
very well organized & friendly a lovely place to stay
Extremely welcoming, helpful, friendly owner and a peaceful cottage. Gorgeous breakfast on an exquisite ancient elm refectory table. In the rooms there are more plentiful tea-making facilities and bottles of mineral water than usual, and generous cups. Beautiful views with dawn autumn mists lit by the sun, looking out over fields and distant trees. Extraordinary in being circled by Chester, Llangollen, Nantwich and Shrewsbury within easy reach. Such a relaxing place to be; I booked a second night rather than leave! I hope to return, and next time will take a larger scale map to explore this enticing region!
There was nothing I didn't like.
An exceptional B&B! Excellent facilities and location and a breakfast to die for!! Lovely host (+Molly!) - nothing too much trouble, even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending.
Nothing - it was exceptional!
Charming proprietor, a warm and friendly welcome which was maintained throughout our stay, and beautifully appointed premises. We're going back!
It did take us a while to find; the post code only got our sat nav to a mile away (but even that contributed to a scenic tour we would otherwise have missed!)
Friendly welcome. Made to feel at home. Lovely breakfast.
Facilities were well kept, very clean, and very comfortable..
Signs for directions were a bit small and hard to find.
