Staff, bedroom, warm living room with roaring fire, excellent breakfast !
Perfect for my walking trip - clean, warm, comfortable and friendly. Slept like a log. Excellent breakfast. Reliable wi-fi. Free lifts to and from Ravenglass station. Good value.
Loved the kitchen area of our room, more like a small apartment. Great. Friendly welcome, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Good value evening meals offered if booked in advance and a limited bar. Views to die for from the room. Just brill.

What else can I say Excellent

The welcoming hosts, the evening dinner option, the breakfasts and the proximity to good walks, the castle and the Ravenglass railway. The kitchenette available with our room was an added bonus.
There wasn't a single coat hook for coats, waterproofs etc
Very friendly , nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful food and excellent rooms.
Leaving to come home!!
Quiet and comfortable in an ideal location
This was very expensive one room annex wasn't that great.
A lovely place to stay, comfortable room with a wonderful view of the garden. Spotlessly clean. Owners very helpful but not obtrusive. Delicious breakfast.
not quality fresh fruit
Had a terrific three days in the area and enjoyed my stay immensely. Very comfortable.
The welcome was warm and friendly. It felt like we were visiting friends rather than staying at a guest house. The breakfast was delicious too. The room was very clean and we liked the fact it had a patio area.
I don't know if the guest house has a room with a king size bed but the one we had was a standard double. We struggled a little as my husband is over 6 feet tall!
Staff very friendly. Accommodative of our needs as a family with young children. Location good.
Very comfortable large room and beds

Being able to select how my eggs were cooked at breakfast. The attention to detail is very evident. The shared lounge is condusive to discussion.

We stayed in the Annex, bonus. Had a wonderful stay, the owners were pleasant and friendly and gave advice on where to go and what to see. Will definitely be going back.
The rain on the Saturday evening, but what do you expect - it is Cumbria.
What a great place! Very homely and welcoming with friendly and helpful owners / staff. Amazing breakfasts and quiet, comfortable rooms.
There was an issue with the Wi-Fi during our visit and no 'phone signal. This can easily be obtained by a very short walk up the road though, so didn't cause any problems.
