Excellent every thing is high specification including breakfast. Friendly hosts.
Would struggle to find any faults
Extremely comfortable and pretty accommodation, with a superb bed! Beautifully modern spotless bathroom with bath and shower attachment. Friendly and warm owners. Delicious breakfast. Loved the old furniture and rugs.
Location was convenient for an evening in Sherborne. Interesting property. Room had a great view. Bed was very comfortable.
Early arrival and request for chamomile tea seemed a challenge. Double room - only one packet of biscuits?
Everything about Munden House is to like. Colin & Annie are very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, The rooms are clean and cosy and the food is excellent. Our first choice to stay in the area.
Mundens Lane is easy to find due to the directions sent by Colin, but you could miss the house in the dark, as the name plate is small and easy to miss.
Lovely hosts, good breakfast, interesting location with excellent pub (The White Hart) nearby. Very quiet and private.
Two flat, uncomfortable pillows on the double bed, weak wifi in room, warm but not hot water in shower. Heater off in the night - brrrr.
Free WiFi, hearty breakfast, comfortable lounge and bedroom
No wardrobe or somewhere to hang clothes upstairs
facilities in room
not a great choice for cooked breakfast
Nicely furnished and equipt rooms, good kitchen and bathroom facilities, breakfast was nice, staff very friendly. The Dairy cottage would benefit from bigger windows in the lounge area.
Really nice place to stay in beautiful setting. Staff were excellent and very flexible
Beautifully comfortable accommodation and setting - I will be staying again and recommending it to my freinds and family .
The Summer House was ideal for us. Secluded, clean, plenty of self-catering facilities. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the main house. Friendly owners and staff. Well done everyone!
There was nothing not to like!
The Owners and their staff were most welcoming and very helpful. The Room was fantastic and the silence Bliss .
Disappointed that Dinner was not on offer although we were directed to a beautiful Pub restaurant only 2 miles away.
Good clean ample size rooms for a short stay. A good location as a base to explore the area. Lovely gardens. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!
More than happy with everything.
The television in our room did not make very good viewing the picture was cut off the top and bottom.
Lack of wifi
Our room was very comfortable and Annie and Colin had thought of everything. Excellent breakfast in a very pleasant dining room and a comfortable sitting room was available as well. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden and meeting Cassie the Collie.
Location, lovely old property, friendly welcome, great breakfast
Beds way too soft, Purbeck Suite a little noisy as partially under the creaking stairs to upper floor.
Annie, Colin and Elaine were fabulous hosts and great to talk with. The morning breakfast service in the dining room (the "full breakfast" is delicious and will really fill you up). Our room was the little townhouse-like cottage with upper sleeping loft - very cozy.
A little remote, but not a bit deal.
Setting It was enjoyable but have stayed in cheaper places that r better.
No fridge in room. Carpet in bathroom On two mornings cold water for shower PARKING. . . LACK OF.
Annie & Colin were charming hosts, and so friendly and helpful during our stay of 4 nights. Their extra attention to detail in the accommodation was much appreciated, therefore, making our holiday more memorable.
- very friendly hosts - wonderful accommodation - good for dogs - very nice settimg
