Lovely location just a few minutes out of Sherborne. Beautifully and traditionally furnished rooms with fantastic views of the Dorset countryside.

Nothing. We did not get a chance to sample the dinners because the owners were on holiday and the stand-ins could not handle that side, but everyone was so helpful and friendly.

EVERYTHING !! We have many short breaks in B/B and hotels.In the past we have had to ask for heating, another room because of plumbing etc etc. Here everything marvellous.

I liked everything about it

The owners were very warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable (and quiet), and the breakfast was excellent (and served in a very nice dining room). WiFi access was reasonably fast too. I'd had a long day before arriving (I drove from York in mostly foggy conditions) but the next morning I felt fully refreshed for the day ahead.

We had a lovely time thank you.

The accomadation, and service.

As you snuggle down under your feather duvet in elegant surroundings, you will know you haven't made a mistake. The family are warm and welcoming, the breakfast sumptuous, and we couldn't have wished for better. All in all, an experience to be repeated.

Best breakfast! Delicious. Beautiful rooms, well looked after, wonderful views from the window. Free upgrade as it was a quiet night was a nice touch. Excellent service and an all round good experience.

We were worried that had we turned up 5 minutes later we may have missed Eliza who was on her way out, and we may not have been able to get to our room! A little understaffed on arrival, but in the end it was not a problem.

The accommodation was comfortable and the food excellent. Colin and Annie were first-class hosts and we had a very enjoyable stay.

I can honestly say this is the best b&b we have ever stayed at. We went for two nights for our silver wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. It is a beautiful setting, our room was immaculate , really pretty and the bed was so comfortable. There was a door that opened out onto the beautiful gardens which was great as we sat outside quite a few times and cassie their dog came to see us, so cute & very well behaved. The breakfast was good quality and tasted delicious. The owners Colin & Annie we're excellent hosts, very attentive, couldn't have asked for more. Wish we were still there now.

Mr & Mrs Fletcher provide a very comfortable and friendly retreat, they are very personable and have a great knowledge of the local area. We will definately be back.

Lovely country house, with modern features. Very nice staff, who were very helpful at recommending very nice places to eat.

Very friendly and helpful proprieters who even loaned my husband a dress shirt as he had forgotten his. Lovely shower and beautiful soft towels. Comfortable cosy bed. Delicious breakfast.

A very nice comfortable hotel in a beautiful spot with a very friendly owner and atmosphere, would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect would have liked to have an evening meal there but unfortunately we were there on a Tuesday.
