The rooms were spacious, luxurious and the owner exceedingly friendly. The hotel was great and excellent value for money. Nothing to complain about - it was really very good!

Location, patio to room and luxury bathroom and bedroom in executive double room. Big TV Not on main road .Nice to have breakfast included. There was a wedding booked on our nights stay and the noisy disco was above us and felt like the ceiling would fall in on us from stomping feet and noisy music. Finished at 11.45pm and was fine after that ! Not recommended to book room when wedding disco on !

Breakfast Very poor reception. In spite of showing our paperwork the person tended to give the impression this was her first day on the job.It wasn't. It all seemed to confuse her. Generally the place gave an aura of tiredness and of another day. Probably won't stay there again.

The breakfast was about the best bit and the waitress was very plesent. Not very welcoming at all had hornet in bathroom the host did not want to remove it my boyfriend had too,the woman was not the least bothered, the room was one of the worst we had stayed in and had many cob webs no windows could be opening it was very stuffy, after arriving their was no facilities at all apart from two small bottles of water in the room,no bar open and no food available at all!! If it wasn't for the pub down the road i don't know what we would have done! We have stayed at many locations and this has to be the worst.would not recommend the place.

I liked the location,(on the outskirts of Hereford ) ambience when I stayed (mid April), leisurely and appetizing breakfast. It's on part of the former estate of the Duke of Norfolk and a quirky ( you feel as if you have the keys to the house but enjoyable and relaxing hideaway with a sense of history . It's also good value and the guests, many were couples I spoke to all appreciated their weekend. It might be different when there is a wedding (probably fully booked) but I would imagine a wedding party would have great fun.

rooms were just lovely! Really lovely furnishings, great size, very comfortable and really good value for money. Excellent breakfast. No meals but excellent pub just down the road. When we arrived staff not sure about our booking. A more organised welcome was the only thing missing from an otherwise lovely stay.

Wow!! I booked albeit a bit last minute as I had to be close to Hereford! Was met by a friendly and informative member of staff and shown to a suite with a four poster bed, the room was immaculate (and I stay in Hotels a lot!) wifi was good the room was warm with a bathroom to die for! - these folks have spent a lot of TLC and thought into the place! every minor detail was thought of! Ideal for Hereford and its surrounding area's See you again shortly

Great room. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff, although getting a phone call to ask where I was and what time I was arriving seemed a little bit strange. Maybe I have just stayed in too many hotels and not enough B&B's! Dog barking most of the night. As this B&B is situated up a quiet country lane, I assume that this was housed by the owners.

The Room was very large. The bed was elegant and comfortable. The Wi-fi did not work in the room. The bath was too small to sit with legs stretched. The windows were only single glazed, the one that was not painted shut would rattle due to the wind. The furniture has seen better days with the bedside cabinets insides falling out. One of the draws had a leaf and a cock inside.

The location was convenient. We were given an "upgrade" as the hotel was quiet. One of the two rooms we had had no hot water in the evening. When questioned about this the owner didn't seem surprised, and just said we would have to wait for it to warm up. As we were going out this wasn't an option! We told the owner that due to this, we wouldn't be paying the full price for the room, as hot water is a prerequisite for a hotel. Her reply was not appologetic; it was just to say "but I have upgraded you!" Whilst out, we checked on trip adviser, and the lack of hot water was mentioned on several occaisions, along with the attitude of the manager/owner. When we left, the manager was not available, and she had not spoken with the lady on reception. The owner was "unavailable" as she was in a "meeting" so we paid in full for one of the two rooms we had had, and paid £50 against the second room price of £70. Also, there was no bar or catering facilities other than a buffet style breakfast. This should be highlighted prior to booking. This is not a hotel, it is a "wedding reception venue" with a few bedrooms.
