The location, the house felt so homely, the lady of the house was charming. A very enjoyable experience.
There wasn't anything to dislike.
Close to railway
Comfortable, host gave me a lift into the village on first night.
Access is via a very dark country lane with no lighting.
Comfortable accommodation, very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful Georgian house.
It would have been a bonus to have sausage in full English for breakfast. That was the only disappointment.
In rural setting lovely and quite didn't really notice train line. Clean and owners really friendly. Breakfast was worth getting up for very good. Owners very friendly but not in your face. Will stay again if in area.
It was ideal for what I wanted, a few days peace in the countryside with my dog just relaxing. Lovely people and place.
I would maybe have certain rooms for guests with pets to have darker carpets and bed linen especially as it's on a farm and the dogs get dirty.
Tastefully furnished rooms, great variety of cosmetics in the bathroom and teas on the complimentary tray.
Intimate, out of the way, yet close to major road networks. Lovely and quiet, a great way to spend a weekend.
Very good accom and views
Nothing at all
comfortable clean good breakfast good value for money nice scenary
a bit isolated if you don't have a car
Clean comfy B&B with modern bathroom and delicious breakfast. Great value for money.
Changed the room at the last minute for a room with a bath. We appreciated that, as the lady didn't have to. A generous breakfast. Liked the French style of the one big table.
Welcome of landlords Charming house and bedroom Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Excellent beds. I will come back...
Some days, the internet connexion.
The setting was lovely.
The odd train passing on the viaduct.
Lovely comfortable room in a beautifully furnished house, peaceful rural setting, warm welcome, well-cooked breakfast.
excellent food & location.
Dirty cutlery, dirty sugar bowl in room, cobwebs in room over TV & near bedside table with the tea facilities. traffic and train noise as it is quite at home. no information about where my fire exit is (only found the information on last day behind the dressing table mirror). no information about local area, doctor, chemist, restaurants, tourist attractions. shops a nice booklet/folder would be nice.
The friendly reception and flexible breakfast time.
Lovely tranquil location Pleasant spacious room Good breakfast Car Parking
No lift and I was on the top floor Wi-Fi didn't work properly
'Far from the Madding Crowd!' Wonderfully comfortable bed, lovely crisp linen, tasteful and not at all pretentious, spotlessly clean, very pretty frontage and garden, a real 'hidden gem'.
That I couldn't stay longer!
We loved this place and the history behind it. Quiet, large room, beautifully decorated as was the whole house. Great breakfast in the dining room with one large table. Carrie was a wonderful hostess. Would stay here again.
We found it difficult to find in the dark but that was our fault for arriving so late.
A lovely house in a beautiful setting. Enjoyed the friendly welcome and good breakfast.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Forget the bit I wrote about chunnel - wrong hotel. Very friendly helpful owner
My room on the top floor with two single beds was large, pretty and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The setting of the B&B is beautiful and it's half the price of other accommodation choices near Daventry. Breakfast was good too - I'll definitely be back.
The friendly owners and their dogs
