I like everything..... From its very nice and kind staff, to the food and how cozy I felt being there. There's nothing I didn't like from this hotel. Even though Wi-Fi internet was not available in the rooms but only in the common areas of the reception/restaurant, it was not bad at all.

Excellent breakfast choice and cooked to order . The glass shower door in room 17 made it very difficult to get into and out of the bath which was tiny. Better to replace it with a shower curtain ...but the was the only gripe .

The staff were lovely... and the room was stunning as well as the view from the windows! The bar staff was very welcoming and their burger was about the best beef burger I have had. For breakfast, the buffet was very generous and once again the staff was marvellous. Overall, I think I would love to visit it again.

The staff bend over backwards in their willingness to help. Very thoughtful and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more understanding and helpful staff. Due to its age, the room had defects - traffic noise and vibration was a problem. We have stayed in other rooms in the hotel and this wasn't an issue, so we were just unlucky this time.

Was there to pick up my son from edinburgh ,and after a 7 1/2 hour drive up from london, it was nice to have somewhere to go back to, to relax. As a solo traveller in a B+B i was not expected an en suite for that price and was very impressed with the decor. Is right beside the Murrayfield stadium so if I was to return to edinburgh I would stay there again Please invest in a new credit card machine! The lack of reception of the machine was frustrating to the poor receptionist whom slowed down her service and meant an unnecessary que formed for people wishing to pay via credit/debit card

the staff were excellent. the breakfast outstanding. it was nice and quiet. the toilet seat was lose and they didnt repair it after we told them about it. No wardrode in room and as we were there for a wedding we really needed to be able to hang long dresses etc up, not on a little rail over the kettle!! No window in room just a door that lead put to a drop so therefore couldnt open it more then an inch (no good in summer), and would think that is a fire issue!! Also when we asked what time the bar stayed opened till we were told as long as it being used, but on return from wedding we were told we could have ONE drink as they wanted to close and couldnt stay open all night for us!

Proximity to main attractions. The location beside a busy road resulted in excessive traffic noise during the evening.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, particularly for the price. The room was luxurious, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the bar was good and the breakfast too was very good. It was lovely to have parking and whilst the hotel is not in central Edinburgh there are plenty of buses to take you in to the city centre One tiny issue was there wasn's a massive choice of cereals at breakfast, but i'm nit-picking to be honest

Good breakfast. Great location, £1.40 bus takes you into city centre in 15 minutes. Sx seater taxi home is less than £10.Airport bus also stops just outside the hotel. It was horrendous, the worst hotel I think I've stayed in. Rooms took over 2 hours after check in to be ready. Rooms were twins rather than doubles. Everything in the room was damaged/not working. Tv had a grand total of 3 channels, no phone in the room. Bathroom would not pass any heath and safety checks, fixtures were hanging off the wall, there was a large window which would not close with no curtain in front of it so you were unable to turn on the light at night without giving everyone in the car park a show. Bed felt like mounds of bricks. Every key is a master key meaning anyone could walk into your room and help themselves, I did not feel particularly safe. Great location but will never set foot in this hotel again or recommend it to anyone I like. Pictures on booking.com are very misleading also.

We originally booked in for just the one night, but ended up stopping for 3! The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The receptionist (anne marie) couldn't have been more helpful, she is truly a fantastic asset to the Murrayfield. The bar was very reasonably priced and the food was outstanding. The rooms are tastefully decorated and had everything you could wish for, nice comfortable beds and the cleanliness was spot on. Our first night was spent in an accessible room ( suitable for wheelchairs) the room was very spacious and boasted an en-suite wet room which again was spacious and very practical for the less able. We will without doubt go back and I highly recommend you stay there. Thankyou to all the staff that made our stay a relaxing enjoyable time.

It was reasonably close to where I was working. It is on a main road into Edinburgh and I was put in a front room so passing traffic created quite some noise when trying to sleep. I travel a lot and this was my first stay at the Murrayfield Hotel & Lodge. I have stayed in places for half the price I paid here and had wifi access in the room and freeview channels to watch. This wasn't an option at this place.

The room was not a twin and not a double, as requested. There was no light or air, the heat from the laundry room made it very stuffy and the noise from the aforementioned and the traffic made for 3 nights of very uncomfortable sleeping.
