Proof in itself that it feels confortable and relaxed. Staff are a strength. All are courteous, helpful and professional. The location was ideal for me. Staff were friendly, helpful, courteous very customer and service focussed. The hotel was comfortable, comforting, very well appointed, quiet, relaxing well decorated and furnished with good attention to colour and styling in room. Would definitely recommend to people without hesitation.

We were thoroughly impressed with the hotel. The rooms were beyond our expectations, the desk staff couldn't do enogh for us and the breakfast was more than adequate. The close proximity to the bus stop meant we didn't need to use our car, which was just as well because of the chaos in the town centre! We couldn't find anything we didn't like about the hotel.

The staff were very attentive and the quality of service was great. It was also good value for money I stayed in one of the older rooms and the furnishings were very tired and old. The shower didn't work, the plug in the sink was broken and all the radiators were so old that I couldn't turn the heat down in the room - the regulator came off in my hand.

The location was fine. We were able to get a very early breakfast prior to our departure. The hotel and rooms were clean but generally needed upgrading. Everything looked rather tired and dated.

I went for an ice hockey match so the location was excellent. I was in one of the new rooms which were very modern and clean and tidy, which i liked as i knew it was an old building. Breakfast was very nice and both check-in/dining staff were very pleasant and efficient.

It was easy to find and reasonably close to the airport so it suited our needs. There was a restaurant and the bar that served food which was good for our late night arrival into the airport. The room was quite large and overall I felt it was quite cost-effective. The decor is getting a little old and our door looked like someone had tried to break in previously, but, I must highlight that the reception would stop anyone from coming in from the outside.

In the right location for us. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom. We have used this hotel for many years. Still basically a reasonable hotel but this time was a real disappointment. Staff were overly attentive to the point of being a nuisance. Bar is noisy. It needs more carpet. Bed sheet had a blood stain on it. Electrical card switch held on wall by sellotape. Food well cooked but choice of dishes limited and not imaginative or interesting. This was a deal price and hotel served a useful purpose but we certainly wouldn't use it at the full price. The wardrobe arrangement is a nuisance and does not work well.

The outside of the hotel is attractive, and inviting. The staff were polite and courteous. The reception/manager refunded us in full due to problems. My guess is that the whole hotel and additional accommodation requires major refurbishment. If this were to happen it would be a fabulous hotel. Upon arrival we paid for our room and then was taken out of the hotel to a house some distance from the main hotel, which was a major surprise. The paint work was badly chipped and scrapped. I booked a double room but was given a family room which was not conducive to a romantic setting. The room was dirty, the tv was tiny and the signal appauling. The hot water was dangerously hot, the noise from a boiler, fridge and outside traffic meant a restless nights sleep. The bed was wet from previous guests, no telephone in the room to contact reception to request assistance. The lighting in the room was inadequate so couldn't see to put clothes in wardrobe.

Not a lot it is a jumped up 2 star with awful reception staff - totally unhelpful Carry your own bags do not try to check in early or out late - these are denied on principle - The telephone in the room did not work - I was told to use the one at reception - no apology - The internet didd not work even at reception - was told that provider had been changed and just to keep trying - a complete lack of interest or service.

The first night we came, very late, my bed was not prepared-no cover, nothing! Needed to run downstairs to ask somebody to do it.He said: no idea,as I am replacing somebody here.. It was very late, I was tired and it took long time. Besides the heating didn't work!! I needed to sleep in cold room. Few days there was no heating, as they didn't know when the specialist will come.I Needed to fight that the move me to other room at least for one night in other building, where there was heating.. For me it's not acceptable to treat people in this way! The ladies working in hotel are totally not professional, one of them could not even prepare proper invoice for us, as didn't now the system well. She promised to prepare it next morning,as we were supposed to leave at 5 in the morning, we came, she was not there and she didn't do anything correctly,as she promised, she should know at least that in an invoice address is needed and other important details,as we asked her for that few times! .No comments..she should get some training apparently. I don't recommend this hotel at all, if you want to have quiet time!
