Small, nice staff, restaurant and bar available if needed, complementary water, tea, coffee, choco bar in the room, clean, comfy.
Only drawback could be the location (but I had a car and anyway there's public transport), and maybe noise due to functions in the hotel (but I had a quiet room despite there being two functions in the hotel during my stay).
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Easy access from and to the airport. There is a bus stop nearby from which we could take a bus to the airport. Easy to get to the town by bus too. Very clean and comfortable room. Great value.
There was no ventilator in the bathroom. The remote control was a bit faulty.

Absolutely everything. Lovely sized room. Great tea and coffee facilities. Absolutely everything we expected. Great value for money :)
Location and walk into town.
Never used the room service
The hotel room was warm and comfortable and brilliantly position as we were going to a night out at Murrayfield Stadium Fab breakfast and breakfast host was jolly and very friendly.
The bath water wasn't very hot also when we came back to the hotel just after 2am we couldn't get it. No one said it would be locked at a certain time. I had no coat on and it was pouring with rain and we knocked loudly for a good 10 minutes before anyone came to open the door so was very cold by the time we got back to our room .
Location and comfort of rooms; pleasant staff and good food.
Mark the door out of the Bothy looks like a uninterrupted wall, the old door had a window in it
the stay too short !
So convenient to be able to park the car at the hotel and catch a bus right outside into the city centre a mile away. Loved the bathroom with large walk-in shower. Bed was fine, although a bit too firm possibly for some folk. Best all round hotel? Taking into consideration, parking, the breakfast (£8 each extra), the gorgeous filter coffee in the bedrooms, the shower, friendliness of staff and the price most definitely. We will certainly be staying there when needing an Edinburgh hotel in future.
Facilities and comfort marked down as it doesn't have a comfortable lounge area - just a very nice bar/restaurant. Cleanliness marked down as the carpets in the hallway were stained (possibly beer drinking rugby fans), but the bar and rooms were spotless. Wifi a bit iffy. Unless you are going specifically for the rugby I would think it best to avoid times when matches are being played.
Room ( 2016 ) was enormous as was the bed ! Nice little touch like a Tunnocks Caramel wafer in the coffee mug. Breakfast freshly cooked and enormous - if that's what you wanted. Free wifi that didn't crash every two minutes like in some hotels. Staff very pleasant & helpful
welcoming staff comfortable bed
draft coming in through windows room a bit cold lighting was either too much or not enough small bathroom
Would recommend the hotel to everybody .good location to the town excellent food staff friendly and helpfull .
Good wifi free parking large screen Tv & comfy bed
Disabled bathroom/wetroom. Bedroom next to public toilets & ground floor noisey

Location to city centre & airport, very nice rooms and great staff
A little noisy with a Christmas Party - but fine once ended
well designed & cosy hotel, close to edinburgh city centre(5 min by bus-frequent transport), nice location close to a small river and Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable bed
they did not change our bedsheets at three days of staying
Friendly & helpful staff, excellent accommodation, good breakfast, nice restaurant
This Hotel improves each year, we were given an excellent room in Murrayfield House, food very good and all the Stall we encountered were most helpful and pleasant.
Right opposite Murrayfield for the Ice Hockey
Broken light shade in the room
Smart and clean, comfy bed and good shower. All facilities were just right. Good breakfast. Parking is free which is rare in Edinburgh. Definitely first hotel choice for next visit to Edinburgh.
Location Staff friendly
Bar noisy for eating Room needed some maintenance Despite friendliness staff somewhat disorganised
Styling of the room and general decorations excellent. Very comfortable, great shower, no traffic noise to speak of.
Breakfast staff seemed to be a bit rushed affecting the overall experience.
