Clean and comfortable, and we were surprised with an extra bedroom ... Was perfect... Not much visit and sit room with extra company in the living/ dining room... But it worked for our needs... We had to do the late check in, and it was very James Bond... I liked it

    Facilities: washing machine, kitchen etc.

Expensive for where it was, paid all that extra to use a washing machine! Edinburgh was too crowded overall!

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, decent kitchen, close to the Castle and Royal Mile, reasonably quiet in downtown Edinburgh. If you need space for a family or several couples, this is perfect!

Couple of small things need to be fixed and repaired but nothing that detracted from the wonderful stay.

Had apt. 1 - was on 2 floors, which we liked. It had 3 bedrooms, so my kids each had their own room, and 2 bathrooms. The washer worked well, and I liked having a drying rack for the laundry. Kitchen was well organized, but I would have liked better instructions on how to use the oven. The living room furniture was comfortable. Had to go to Brougham Street to get the key, but that worked well as we could pay cash for the apartment and they let us have the apartment by 10 AM of our first morning, when we had jet lab. This apartment was close to Princes Street and buses, the tram, the train station - great as we were walking or using public transport. This apartment turned out to be our best rental of our whole trip, and we had it for the first 2 nights of our trip.

Couldn't figure out the heating system, so it was too hot upstairs, and the downstairs thermostats seemed to be disconnected. 2nd bedroom upstairs - blind on the window was broken and there was no way to block the sun, so that room got very warm. Could only use the hand-held shower in the main floor bathroom - the other showerhead sent water underneath the shower door. None of the TV remotes worked - probably low batteries. I would have liked descriptions of local grocery stores and restaurants - the pub around the corner, Au Bar, is excellent but we didn't discover it until our last night. It was also awkward to go to Brougham Street to get the key, but it enabled us to see another area of Edinburgh.

The flat was decorated to a very high standard and was immaculately clean. Just 5 mins from Usher Hall, 10 mins from Princes St and 20 mind from Royal Mile.

The bedrooms are directly above a coffee shop which opens at 6:45am. You will be woken up by very loud music/radio at 6:40am whichever of the two bedrooms you sleep in. We tried both and I had earplugs in and was still woken up.

The directions to the flat were terrible - colour co-ordination on the doors possibly!! The TV did not work and the wifi stopped working too which was disappointing

Good location and the flat was well equipped apart from the problems I have detailed.

Very well kitted out kitchen, high spec and so was the bathroom. Lovely rain shower. Water always hot Beautifully clean bedding and towels. Lovely wooden floors. Very near to Princes Street.

There is absolutely no mention of the steep stairs off the road and no mention of the very tight steep stairs up to the bedroom (yes this apartment is 2 storey- 16/4). All those in no.16 are the same. No room in bedroom to put a suitcase or any other sort of bag and barely anywhere to put clothes. Bathroom door didn't shut, nowhere to hang towels and could have done with a mirror over the basin. Beware top step it's a little difficult to spot without the light on. Stairs must be advertised won't suit anyone with walking difficulties a

First what I did like: location close enough to center of town but not right in it; price was right, especially during the Tattoo and festivals; staff excellent, responding to needs quickly and going the extra mile. I also liked the apartment experience over hotel rooms, since we were two couples who wanted time and space to relax together.

The apartment was poorly cleaned and poorly maintained. The name luxury in the title does not belong. Several racks broken off the walls and holes remain. Paint in poor shape all over. A locked door in the bathroom was held in place by cardboard shims. Bathroom was cleaned quickly and poorly between renters, leaving hair from previous renters on the floor...yuck! And though minor, the remote for TV had no cover and batteries kept falling out.

Very clean, well equipped, very suitable for a short stay in the city.

The only downside was being able to hear people in the other apartments. It was only slight, as other people were not noisy, but could be a potential problem if other users were not considerate.

Staff was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Location was great for the conference center. If in town again, I would definitely stay here.

The only drawback was being in an unfamiliar place and having to pick up the keys in a separate location. Otherwise, nothing I would change.

    Good location, staff friendly

Tiny rooms (bed only furniture in bedroom with no space around it). Very narrow stairs, hard to get luggage up them (no lifts available). Bathroom had no place to hang towels. Clothes washer-dryer never got clothes dry. Apartment manual listed a dishwasher, which was not present.

Position is close to the city centre (by foot) and to the major city attractions

Some broken fornitures i.e.: a rolling curtain and TV remotes (3) didn't work (dead batteries?)

We booked this because we wanted to be close to the centre and also please ourselves with food so the kitchen facilities were great. Both apartments were furnished to a very high specification and very clean. In the second apartment a salad bowl or any large bowl would have been helpful, this was a two bedroomed apartment which could have had 4 people staying and it could do with a few more plates, bowls etc. There were a few minor things that could have been improved but I was very happy with my booking, though I would advise people to check beforehand if you want two single beds. I did phone and email about other issues but assumed that as I had specified the twin beds I did not need to check on that.

I specified a twin bed apartment as travelling with a friend. We were given a double bed apartment. I contacted the emergency number and they apologised and were very quick at brining round a z-bed which I spent the first night on. We were upgraded and moved to a very large luxury apartment with two double bedrooms the following night, which was a little further away from the centre and not that easy to find. We had to repack our luggage which was transported for us. The staff were very helpful . The weather was very warm and there were no instructions about how to open the windows in the second flat which were very tricky (I had to bang on the door of another resident to find this out!) nor how to use the skybox. These would have been very helpful. on leaving we could not work out how to open the keysafe despite following instructions so left the keys in the flat.

Fantastic shower, great location, comfortable beds. Facilities were all pretty much brand new and very clean.

No nice views from the apartment, also at 6am in the morning on a Sunday we were woken up by a crane cleaning windows of offices opposite out apartment. Also it would have been nice to have an info pack with a map and things to do in Edinburgh.

Liked the location. Excellent to access the tram or 5 min walk into Edinburgh. The bed was very comfy, shower was excellent. Great having wifi included. Checkout was easy, just drop keys through box in lobby, able to leave luggage at place where we collected keys from during the day. Great having pint of milk in fridge.

Dreadful lumpy pillows, shame as bed was super. Sofa wasn't brill, so unbelievable slippy. Would have been useful to have a morror over basin for shaving.
