Lots to do in and around Cheltenham. We visited Bourton on the Water and would have liked to have seen more in that area. Seems lots to do in Cheltenham in the evenings and some nice boutique type shops. Definitely visit again for a little longer.

My partner and I really enjoyed Cheltenham, we went out to the town hall for a great Motown night, then we had drinks in a local bar that was full of very friendly people of all ages groups. Our accommodation for the night was great in every way, the staff was very welcoming and it's a perfect location for easy access to the town center. We will definitely return in the future and we would fully recommend it.

Some areas of central Cheltenham are lovely and others, much less so. The more genteel areas have a wide range of places to eat that will suit all tastes. There are some lovely parks.
Street parking with a permit is a bit of a lottery. You may be lucky to find a spot in your zone but this could be some distance from your accommodation.

Cheltenham is a Regency town with an excellent choice of restaurants and bars and a good base to explore the Cotswolds , one of England's most beautiful areas .
The town is also a conference and events centre , with literary and jazz festivals and horse racing being the most popular events
For those of you with an appreciation of architecture , it is a treasure trove of Regency and Gothic styles .
Visitors with an interest in the history of Aviation are strongly recommended to visit the Jet Age museum nearby

Its a lovely town, We were lucky to see a show at the Everyman Theatre, which is a beautiful provincial theatre - Cheltenham is lucky to have it but it was full up on the Tuesday night we visited. We were saddened to see so many empty shops and especially that the huge Cavendish House store is closing, which will have a depressing effect on the town centre. There were lots of very nice looking restaurants and bars. We would love to visit again and spend more time looking around.

Cheltenham is a lovely historic town with plenty to see and do. There is loads of choice for dining and drinking and lots of unique shopping outlets making the place stand out compared to most towns.
I can’t say whether younger people would rate the place as highly but the majority of residents and visitors we met were older generation and very pleasant .
We attended an Elkie Brooks gig at the Town Hall which was a great experience in a lovely building. I would estimate the average age of attendees as 70+. So that confirms the target demographic of the town.
Loved the fact that they sorted out the bedroom for the three of us so it was comfortable to sleep. The room had enough space to manage for the night. Very convenient for the bus into Cheltenham town centre. Free bottles of water.
Jake was fantastic! I was not feeling well at 3:30am in the morning and he looked after me very well. Please do not lose him! He would be one reason to come back. Breakfast on the go was good too. Good balance for us. Appreciated the hot mushroom toastie and the machine in the lobby for our teas and coffee.
Great location within walking distance of town centre. Went to cheltenham races and got the race bus from outside WHSmith in town centre which was good. Small compact apartment which was adequate for a 2 night stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and it had central heating. We were emailed detailed access instructions and the sat navigation took us straight there. Parking space directly outside. Had a lovely stay.
Super clean and spacious room, right in the centre. The staff has been very helpful and kind. I just felt like home, not a hotel (saying that as an ex-flight attendant). Very reasonable price for the comfort they provide you with. They even left an electric fan before l asked. I am not a person giving 5 stars all the time but l would give more than 5 to this little cute hotel and its lovely staff.
Excellent value for money, friendly knowledgeable staff and right in the town centre. Parking vouchers can be purchased from reception to park in the street outside at a good price. Breakfast is continental but lots of choice and good quality. The reception staff (Rosie?) couldn’t have been more helpful. This will be my go to hotel when returning to a Cheltenham. Highly recommended.
The hotel is right in the town centre and was clean with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was good with staff available to refill as necessary. This hotel was much cheaper than any of the others in Cheltenham although the rooms were probably much the same as you would get in any hotel, so value for money is the big plus for this hotel.
The property is a very nice refurbishment of a chapel in Cheltenham town centre, superbly appointed inside with a great kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom all in new condition as far as I could see. The duplex split is an original use of the space and the reserved parking and proximity to town and local facilities were very handy.
Everything was really clean, bed was comfy, the wifi was fast, the area was nice and quiet, there was a bus station nearby that took us straight into Cheltenham town centre, there were good shops nearby, all in all it was wonderful. Would book again for our next trip to Cheltenham.
We really loved Cotswold Grange. The room we stayed was nicely furnished and spacious. We loved the feeling of the hotel, it felt like home. The breakfast was delicious, home made and healthy. It felt it was well cooked and not heavy. Lovely boutique hotel.
The hotel is well situated in the centre of Cheltenham, all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the food was very good as well. Our room was larger than expected, very clean and comfortable.
Great location, 25 min walk from Cheltenham racecourse, also short walk to centre with bars and clubs. Very clean and great facilities. Jakub was very friendly and quick to respond.
Spacious apartment, very clean, modern, large and quiet, no noises. Located to the city center, exploring Cheltenham is easy. Easy check in, good communication with the proprietor.
The apartment was well equipped, nice comfy bed and pillows and parking space right outside the door. Handy bus service into Cheltenham town centre just along the road.
The location of the hotel was perfect. Very close to a lovely park and within easy reach of the town centre. The hotel had lots of character and the room was spacious.
The room was spacious the hotel staff were fantastic! The food and drink we had was lovely. Its only 10 mins from the town centre. Would definitely stay again.
