It was so central We loved the coffee shop and the small plate restaurant.. excellent. Fresh flower in our room and through out the hotel. I had a foot massage..one of the best. We would come back to the hotel.
The position of the hotel. The friendly and courteous staff. Comfortable bed and generally very good facilities.
The tiny cramped shower toilet. A background noise in the room (a sort of humming machinery noise) that continued all the time, day and night. It was very low level and not really a problem, except when trying to get to sleep.
the front desk staff
pretty poor maintance. rooms and facilties a bit outdated and irrelevant
great location and staff helpful.
room is small
good location lovely clean hotel
Location. Gail's kitchen.
Room too dark and not user friendly ie no bedside table to put book and glasses on, wardrobe hanging space inaccessible, no grab handle in shower.
you can find twice a bigger room for the same spot in the same area
Very central location. Lots of cafes and shops nearby. Close access to an Underground station at Tottenham Court Road, 5-10 min walk.
Floor in my bedroom was sloped. I thought the breakfast was expensive at £15
The staff was very nice. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast was superb
The rooms were very small regarding to the high price. Very noizy hotel (i changed twice rooms because of the noice in the back side). brakfast was not included into the high price
Bed was decorated in Rose petals as it was our anniversary, lovely gesture.
Proximity to office
The room was small, the bathroom tiny - the tv was mounted so you couldn't watch it from the bed. The restaurant was shut so no room service - I was told to go to the Co-op to buy myself a sandwich. The blind was broken
Housekeeping banging doors of other rooms while we were sleeping or trying to !!
The location and the bakery downstairs for a nice breakfast!
NEED TO BE REFRESHED!! Old and stained carpet Furniture damaged Windows don't close properly Non professional staff Most of the time, nobody at the reception desk Mini bar not refilled Very NOISY and dusty
The position of the hotel was excellent in a very buzzy area with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Having Gails bakery and coffee shop next door also very handy for breakfast.
not keen on having the shower in the bath at a low height level.
nice central location nice staff
Room next to the elevator Room very small
Sad and depressing rooms but bar and restaurant very pleasant. Great bar staff.
Rooms / single was like a prison room. I upgraded but also like a YMCA.
On arrival we were upgraded to a suite with all the space you could want plus a sofa which came in handy after all the walking. We have stayed in many hotels in London and this is simply the best hotel we have found that is so close to the centre of London.
Myhotel Bloomsbury staff is extremely courteous and will do everything within their reach to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We could smell freshly made breads and pies early in the morning at Gail's, (the bakery they have downstairs). Overall a very positive customer experience.
Staying in a 15 m2 bedroom is very uncomfortable mainly if you are carrying 2 pieces of luggage. Paying around GBP 250 a night for a tiny 15 m2 bedroom is by no means a cost-effective lodging option. Bearing this in mind, we decided to cut our stay in London from 5 to 3 days only.
Frendliness of staff and location were both very good
Breakfast was limited
Location was great
A bit noisy as could hear the room next to us. Asked for a twin room and got a double. No breakfast for the price?? Bed was really uncomfortable.
Hotel didn't have any adapters on site which is quite irritating for business travelers.
Rooms are small but adequate. Fantastic location.
Great location, very clean and value for money.
All very good, no negative points.
The staff during this unfortunate situation were very helpful and apologetic and polite. We were booked in to another hotel for the same price. They did the best job they could under very difficult circumstances. Cannot rate the hotel as we didn't get to see it but the ladies on the front desk coped very well under a lot of stress.
