Loved the room layout, funky decor and pleasant staff Disliked the noise from the disco and street and most of all the lack of a proper door on the toilet. |

I loved the quirky design of the hotel. The staff were very hospitable and it was very central to the cultural quarter (we had tickets to a show at the Dome - it was only two minutes away!). I am not a fan of buffet breakfasts so would have liked to be able to order breakfast, but as there are so many places to eat in the vicinity this was not a major problem. |

The incredible quietness of the rooms and the excellent attitudes of the staff. Open-air bathroom, and would have preferred the sound-proofing of the walls of the room to stop outside noise to be applied to the toileting arrangements within the room, which did not provide for sufficient privacy however well sharers know one-another! |

I loved the room, thought the decor was fab! When I checked in I asked if I coudl extend my stay (8pm) to one more night, which I was advsied woudl be fine. I then went out to dinner, not returning to the hotel until approx 11.30pm where I had a note pushed thorugh my door to say they didn't have a room for second night, this left me with no rooma nd little time to organise |

The design of the hotel is very nice, in a modern style. My room was very well decorated, very clear and fresh with a lot of space. It was very pleasant to stay there. The Wifi is free in all the rooms. The buffet breakfast was very rich and served until 11 am. Moreover, the hotel is very well situated, central and closed to the railway station (7 min walking)!!! My room was on the street side which was a bit noisy! |

We loved the style and freshness of the bedrooms and the bathrooms were the best that we have encountered. Our room had huge bay window with a view over the busy street which was great for "people watching". Myhotel is located in town, approx 5 minutes from The Lanes, 10 minutes from the sea and surrounded by bars, pubs and restaurants. The hotel also has a couple of bars that are just perfect for the start and end of the evening. Just a bright new place to stay in Brighton away from the sea front hotels that are rather tired and staid in comparison. The one disappointment was the breakfast. It's not a bad breakfast; it just suffers in comparison with many of the offerings, locally. Also, we witnessed regular confusion with the restaurant staff about whether, or not, breakfast was included in the rate. The solution is to avoid the breakfast and go to "Bills" around the corner or one of the many other breakfast places within in few steps of the front door. |

Great location, central for the Lanes, Dome, Pavillion and Seafront. Great design, decor and attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast (included in our room rate) was a perfect start to the day, very relaxed, and served until 11am ! Overall, can't fault the place, no problems at all with noise etc. that has been reported in other reviews, although am guessing the fact that we stayed midweek and in the winter was a possible factor. Room (a "More Superior" double) was well appointed with large screen TV, minbar, DVD player, iron and ironing board, safe, bathrobes etc. and we particularly liked the ability to hook up the ipod to the room sound system ! Would definitely recommend ! |

The staff were so friendly and accommodating and always had a smile on their faces. The rooms were a good size and for a young couple like us, we loved the funky retro feel of the whole place. The bar staff were very knowledgable and great fun too. The location was perfect, very near The Lanes and the seafront which is where we spent most of our time. Would have liked a king sized bed instead of a double. |

Room was very clean and modern. Lighting was good and very ambient with the crystal mood lighting. Well stocked minibar which wasnt too much off a rip off and a very comfortable bed. The bar downstairs was also very very nice and considering how busy it was in the evening nothing could be heard whilst up in your room. The toilet was clean but poorly designed with little privacy as there was a frosted glass door which was not fully framed, therefore was very open where "everything" could be heard. Very very bad design!!! |

Design of the hotel was fantastic and facilities are very good. Very relaxing environment with a very positive feel. Was not easy to find (following a SatNaV) parking expensive (dont know if there was a day rate that allowed for multiple departure and return at NCP) |

Fun design, great location, very friendly staff It was frustrating that often, design got in the way of function: the glass door to the toilet, the oddly-placed towel bars and light switches |

Central location I object to being asked for a £50 per night deposit on arrival when they already have my credit card details, it made me feel like a criminal. Room was ok but have stayed in better. |
