Lovely large clean room. Nice breakfast Staff very helpful and accomadating.
A bit of a trek to town centre due to the steps down. 70 in total and on quite a big hill. Would not be suitable for disabled unless you were prepared to drive into centre and park and pay. Nothing bad to say about accomadation.
everything; very good breakfast
The owner was lovely & nothing was too much for her. Lovely stay & lovely place
Nothing to dislike
Very tasty breakfast. Close proximity to centre of bowness
Everything, Room's Owners Place Breakfast cannot fault it. And in a prime spot from the lakeside. Will be returning very soon.
Five minutes from village, fair size room. Large bed. Good size bathroom, breakfast was very good hot and made from fresh. Was shown to our room and where everything was. Can use swimming pool by the burnside hotel.
Cannot pay by credit card, the steps down to the village, no good if unfit.
Almost everything is perfect. The room is very very clean which makes our stay comfortable. The location is perfect, 2 mins by walk to the lakeside. The breakfast is great, esp. the toast, the best we had in GB.
We had a lovely view from the patio just outside our bedroom. The accommodation was spotless and it is just a very short walk from town with shops bars and amenities on your doorstep. We have stayed here previously and will be going back again. Friendly staff and you are made very welcome Lynnette and Les
would have preferred softer pillows
it was a great place to stay Jennifer was lovely from the moment she met us she. Make you feel welcome the room was lovely as it own balcony and lovely views and a short walk to all restaurants and shops and the lake couldn't have asked for any thing better

Nothing I Didnt Like
nice-view room room decoration free parking full-English breakfast price
Location. Staff. Catering. Clean. tea and coffee in room. TV and hairdryer.
Room too small for amount of content. Dated.Chairs thread bare. No ventilation other than patio door. Not good if you like a window open at night. No dressing table for female purposes. toilet and shower in en-suite but sink in bedroom.
We stayed in the suite it was loverly with a nice view and a very nice breakfast
As it is only a couple of minutes walk to the town it is in a very good spot. The separate table & chairs on the patio were a nice idea as in the evening we had a nice glass if wine sitting outside. The hotel was a good choice for the weekend.
I think the owners lived on the floor above & when they got up in the morning you could hear them which disturbed the lie in. You also had to make sure that you had a shower/bath before others did as the hot water ran cold.
Amazing stay. Jennifer you and the property are amazing! Coming back as soon as possible.
Location. The ability to sit out of the property on the patio area.
Bedding, namely the use of blankets and eiderdown quilt instead of the more hygienic Duvet. Many people have used these rooms and it's my reckoning only the sheets are replaced between each guests visit. Not good! The room was also smelly and didn't feel clean at all.
Double bed felt like single - no room to walk around bed.
Great location, fabulous view from the patio, friendly helpful staff. Very reasonably priced
Room very small, crowded and not well put together. Decor dated and had too many knick-knacks and throw pillows. Very few amenities. Breakfast ample but uninspired. The plumbing gurgled.
Everything from the location to the cleanliness of the whole of the dwelling. The choice at breakfast and the way it was presented. The value for money was unbelievable what with the jacuzzi, tea and coffeee making facilities. We were asked if we needed help re places to visit and we were informed of where the best of eating places for evening meals were from normal English to Chinese and more.
There wasn't anything we did not like about the place itself. The only downside of the few days we had was that the time went too quickly and we could have stayed longer.
It was very close to shops and pubs. The view was beautiful. Breakfast was great.
Hillside location. Walking to shops. Views. Terrace.
room. staff. food.
the owner had a better car than me.
