Nailcote Hall  

An elegant country house hotel surrounded by beautiful well kept grounds. Staff are friendly and professional, rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food although a little pricey and the breakfast is among the best we have come across, with lovely food cooked to order rather than self service buffet which seems to be the norm these days. Easy parking. We would definitely stay here again. Highly Recommended.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is a beautiful old building and the food was excellent.

The toilet didn't flush properly. The hotel is often used as a wedding and party venue.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean, in good repair and not overly hot, like a lot of hotels.The hotel is very conveniently located for the nec. The cooked breakfast was excellent. I didn't play golf on the Par 3 course but it looks good and hosts the uk par 3 championship and at £12.50 a round has to be good value.

The restaurant only starts serving dinner at 7pm and as we were going to a concert at the nec this meant that we had to eat at a pub instead. No great hardship!

My husband and I decided to stay overnight on Christmas Eve to help start our festive celebrations. When we went up to our room we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite. This was perfect for us as it gave us a separate area on Christmas Day to open our presents! We had dinner in the Oak Rook and the food was amazing, the lady that served us was also excellent. Our younger waiters and waitresses out there could certainly learn a lot about good service from her. Breakfast on Christmas Day was lovely, we had a table over looking the grounds and the food once again was cooked to perfection. It was a wonderful start to our Christmas break, we would definitely go back and do it again. Next time we will be there early enough to use the leisure club!

Very helpful staff, nicely furnished, very comfortable

The setting and tudor design of the main building. The pool and spa area and the attention to detail which made it a real pleasure to use. Our room was convenient for the leisure centre.

Whilst our room was comfortable (room 30) it was small and rather cramped with little room between the bed and the dressing table. Being in a seperate building meant that we had to walk outside (raining) when going back to the main building and the dining room. The tennis courts are no longer in use and should be taken out of the internet site.

A fabulous hotel with great staff. Daniel on reception was a real star!

Been coming to Nailcote for 10 years,its superb in every way, its like Home from Home Rooms very comfortable, food superb, and staff do not change, some there for 20 years, does that say it all !!!!!!!!Congratulations Rick and his superb team.5 Star all the way

We went to Nailcote Hall as wedding photographers and found the location excellent for the purpose. Our accommodation was first class and the staff very helpful. The gold course and grounds were lovely.

My one draw back I felt was that the bridal suite needed improving. they advertise four poster beds but there is not one for the bride and groom in the suite. Also the view from their accommodation left a lot to be desired.

The outstanding quality was the Staff. Without exception they were friendly and helpful - a rarity these days. The rooms were very clean and well furnished as was the hotel overall. Food was very good , both the main restaurant and bar snack menus were comprehensive and breakfast was superb. Though a mainline rail service runs close to the hotel,the noise level from trains was very low and unobtrusive. We travel extensively and internationally, Nailcote Hall compares well anywhere in value for money and local facilities.

Mooi Engels landhuis in Tudor stijl met heel mooie verzorgde kamers. Ook het restaurant serveert heerlijke schotelsin een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Het hotel beschikt ook over een zeer mooie golfplaats en een binnenzwembad.

we have stayed three times before, and this time in a group it was ideal for everyone to reach from their destinations. We like the ambiance of the hotel, the leisure facilities and the men liked the golf It was an ideal location for our Friday night curry in Birmingham and then a more formal meal at the Saxon Mill..

The bar was a bit of a nightmare, we ordered sandwiches and drinks when we got there, and the lad behind the bar couldnt comprehend what we wanted, couldnt seem to cope with lots of people besides us. We did our own order, wrote it down and gave it to him in the end. We were upgraded due to the special occasions, but asked to move rooms, as we were by the kitchens. The next room was by the car park at the front, which was also very noisy , so not much sleep. We know the building is old, but the floor constantly creaked. Also lots of noise from the wedding guests, suggest they are kept in new part of the hotel to avoid noise to other guests.
