Everything! The bed linen was amazingly lush! Fabulaous countryside.

It was quiet but it did not bother us too much.

All staff very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Nothing was too much for them. They all wanted to make your stay enjoyable. Staff also very knowledgable about the history of the hotel.It has been lovingly restored to its former glory.

Restaurant's evening meal did not live up to its billing.

Quiet, secluded retreat, where first class facilities, service and food can be enjoyed in equal measure. I am not sure that I want to tell too many people about Nanteos as it is the type of place you want to keep all to your self.

Gorgeous scenery and grand hotel. Lovely room sizes and high ceilings.

The breakfast didn't match the rest of the hotel - very poor ... poor quality bread used for toast, and a curdled Hollandaise (and inedible) sauce on the Eggs Benedict etc

The room was excellent, the grounds and lake were very picturesque, the food was top quality and the service was exceptional.

The food and the staff were excellent

Location, friendly staff, excellent food and wines, views, comfort. Any requests were dealt with promptly and with courtesy. Superb breakfasts, catering for all desires.

Toiletries weren't all replaced the second day. Only one coat-hanger provided, until I requested more. Carpets weren't cleaned well (a dead fly was in situ for all our stay).

Excellent greeting and reception. Room facilities first class. Friendly and helpful staff.

Poor wi-fi in the room. If I had to complain, the dining room was somehow a little 'cavernous' and lacked atmosphere?

Nanteos is a beautifully restored 18th century Georgian mansion which now offers one of the best venues in mid-Wales - splendid rooms and facilities in a lovely setting, which is rural but just 2 miles from the coast. Ideal for both business and holiday. Highly recommended.
