Bar, friendly reception and quality of the food.
Shower over the bath and no bath mat
Friendly atmosphere, lovely food, well looked after, quiet room, wi-fi connection very useful - able to work.
The warm welcome. Staff carried bags upstairs, and remembered us from last year. Any queries regarding accommodation were dealt with expeditiously, and good advice regarding local services and places of interest was readily available Very comfortable room: slept like a babe on the first night! Room serviced, and hot-drink making facilities replenished daily. Lounge/bar very pleasant and extremely comfortable. The restaurant is excellent.
Our room was upstairs, under the eves, so that the slope in the ceiling of our otherwise well appointed bathroom prevented our standing under the shower. However, I know from last year's stay that the bathrooms downstairs have a more usual arrangement.
We had the best evening meal we've eaten out for a very long time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly
Lovely location, tasteful and comfortable accommodation, friendly ambience, efficient and unobtrusive service, very good food.
Food and staff excellent
Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating and made us feel right at home. When we missed breakfast due to a phone malfunction they saved us some delicious veggie sausages! And when our keys got locked in our car they were really helpful in getting them recovered! Even when we left our baby gate behind they were quick to ring and remind us! Despite all our bad luck the staff ensured we had a fantastic holiday, and when you add that to a beautiful hotel in a really handy countryside location you can't get any better than that!
Efficiently run hotel in nice surroundings. Ideal if you are looking for a peaceful base from which to explore the area. I was there on business and after a long drive from Bedfordshire found the hotel to be very chilled and relaxing so slept like a log.
Internet access a bit random but I suspect that's the location not the hotel as the customer I visited on a nearby industrial estate explained. Frankly, having limited internet access adds to the tranquility
The service, the food, the lounge & dining areas, and the staff. All areas were spotlessly clean, and the hotel has a perfect location in a peaceful setting, yet close enough to access all parts of the island.
A shelf or two in the bathroom for personal toiletries would be useful, as would a wall mounted grab rail in the bath.
good accommodation, good atmosphere, quality surroundings, a place that you can just enjoy
there was nothing to dislike
Quiet hotel. Small and friendly. Easy to get to know other guests in the lounge area.
Not much in Llangefni but central to Anglesey.
Friendly staff Quiet picturesque area Cosy Rooms Nice Bar Area
Small twin room but ok
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and had lovely decor. The staff are friendly. There is a lovely lounge bar area with big comfy sofas.
Had dinner one night during our stay and I personally didn't enjoy mine very much. I felt the menu was a little overpriced for what we got and there wasn't much choice on the menu. However my partner thought his meal was OK and the cost seems to be average for Anglesey. Breakfast however was lovely.
Quite , good location, Staff very pleasant.
Friendly staff, good food and a comfortable room. Also lots of parking meant there was loads of room for the van so win win.
Good food in pleasant surroundings
Shower in the bedroom a little jaded
Staff were efficient, friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel it'self was comfortable, spotless, had all the amenities you would want and was in a beautiful setting. The restaurant was also good with an extensive menu and attentive staff. We are staying at a four star hotel in York next week but it will have to be VERY good to match our experience here.
Friendly, quiet location, clean and comfortable
The food. Both breakfast and dinner.
Everything was first class the owners were great. Will be back again and will be telling everyone to go there
Shower head to low
Particularly noticed the cleanliness of the place, and the setting/scenery was out of this world.
Close to the site I was working at
Price of food, lack of wifi, size of room, SIZE OF EN SUITE
Friendliness of the staff. I was made to feel very welcome. Delightful rooms, charming lounge and dining room. Very pleasant grounds and so pretty all lit up in the evening. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again
The double room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location, perfect for a total chill out. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, very attentive and happy. I had only one meal but it was very good. This rates as my best stay in an hotel for two years.
