Bed was clean and warm
No breakfast available place needs a facelift
That breakfast wasn't included
very friendly and welcoming
Didn't realise that the pub shut at midnight on the Friday so didn't get to sleep until 1am!! The bedside lamp was so low you couldn't read by it and the sink taps were really difficult to turn off!
Staff, price and location
Noisey, creaky no one about at check out.
Easy Location for business
It's cheap but should be cheaper.
Almost impossible to turn the sink & bath taps on & off. Dangerously scalded or frozen in the shower. Outside smokers unwittingly make a lot of noise.
Noise in to the early hours, you need to expect it , its a pub
Excellent price, good food and nice bar to relax in.
Nothing, no problems at all.
Location for my work in next village
No wi-fi in room, and not brill in bar
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was nice and not only was it reasonable but they have many 2 for £10 on main meals. The room was a little dark but comfortable. Good heating.
If you want to have a good night sleep this is not the place for you. You expect to have some noise from the pub but the ceiling must be paper thin as it felt like people were actually in the room. The chatter was extremely loud and went on until 1 am.
Not to clean and it could do with a lot of T L C
Spacious and well heated room.
Noisy, directly above the public bar.
very large room with modern bathroom
this is difficult, because it was christmas and we did expect noise from the bar (did not empty until 1am.) and music was very loud.
Conveniently close to house we were visiting.
No heating. No mirror for women to use hair drier and for makeup.
Good pub style accomodation
No breakfast available, however there is a nice little cafe just along the road
Food is great value staff rxcellent
Overall a good hotel, quiet comfortable, nice staff.
Bbit worried about precarious position of kettle etc in a family room and a bit cool during night.
Good, nice room exactly as described. Very good food and friendly personel. Clean sheets and very good beds. Good quality for a nice price.
Because the rooms are above the the pub you will hear the people below quite loud and music as well. We had no problems with that but, it is a warning for others. After midnight the music stops and people are leaving. We had a comfortable night in a good hotel.
Staff, location, good food and the beer :-)
Chilly in bedroom, bit of a whiff passing gents loo !
value for money, nice clean comfortable but quaint room.
no option for breakfast, shower was barely warm in the morning.
Great food in bar good beer Good nights sleep what else would you want
Nice room Easy to find Good parking
No wi-fi in rooms
Very inexpensive, good food and service for evening meal. Good fresh bed linen and towels. Friendly staff. Would use again, but ask for room with longer bed.
Waiting nearly 15 minutes for room key on arrival. Arrangements for breakfast not explained. Bathroom taps very difficult to use. Decor throughout very dingy. Only one bedside table and light in our double room.
All of it during my stay
Nowhere to leave the room key if you left before the pub was open in the mprning
