The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. In general, the hotel room provides the facilities that meet the ordinary needs. One of the merit of this hotel is that of its very convenient location. |

distance from Paddington station was great, nice little room, perfect for a quick overnight stay, the staff was helpful with suggestions about the area and in supplying additional needs for the room, good food & drink nearby The beds aren't the best for those of us with back problems, very cramped breakfast room--I was glad we're rather petite, but I knew to expect these things from the reviews. Worth it for the price and location for our purpose--overnight between train & airport |

it needs renovation. Noise was coming from plumbing and heater in the middle of the night. You could hear other people walking. A lot of wind was coming from the window. We asked for a non smoking room but in the room there was a very strong smell of smoke. |

The location was perfect so close to everything, pubs restaurants ect... The rooms were very small which would be expected in London, but there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room which was very disappointing. Also when checking in the receptionist didnt seem to know what she was doing but the man looking after us checking out was lovely. |

The fact that there was no mattress protector on the bed and we spent most of the night sleeping on the bare mattress as the unfitted sheet kept sliding off. There was no water for the shower nor basin tap until mid morning. It was my birthday and a basket with flowers etc was delivered to the hotel on Saturday but was not handed to me until we were leaving on Sunday morning at 11a.m. |

In view of London prices, the Nayland is an ok place to stay at. The rooms are clean, if small, and fairly comfortable. The breakfast buffet is ok for the price. Some irremovable stains on carpet and in bathroom. Breakfast room very cramped - couldn't sit down on or get up from the chair without moving the table. Service at reception and during breakfast not very attentive and, it would seem, most of the staff in a permanent bad mood. |

Near to the Tube Stations and Hyde Park. Hotel clean. Breakfast ok but limited, shame about the cordial orange juice, would have been better if it was freshly squeezed. Had booked 2 x double rooms - were given 1 x double 1 x twin. Staff were quick on rectifying this. Was moved from 1st floor to 4th. Room was small and not well venterlated. No tea facilities in room. Shower kept running out of water - so had to wait still foamed up till presure came back - usually 3 mins. |
