Exceptionally friendly and very helpful staff. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to others. Great value for money, especially if you compare to the Premier Inn which is more expensive and situated over a mile away from the town centre.

The host was very welcoming. The room was homely and the breakfast was excellent. I liked the idea of making your own toast so you could have the quantity wanted at the appropriate time but the toaster was malfunctioning a bit. That was the only fault and not a major one.

It was all locked up on our arrival and we were left in torrential rain. On telephoning the Hotel on my mobile, while standing on front doorstep, I was told to wait while a phone call was made! Then we were let in to a dingy foyer strewn with rubbish we had to wait to see if the room had been made up. It was cold and dank and dirty. Room had not been cleaned since god knows when but the bed was clean. We found coins on the floor, toilet tissue behind bedside cabinet along with empty milk containers and piles of dust. Toilet had short and curlies all over it everything was generally awful. Thoroughly depressing!!

The room was bright and well decorated on arrival bedding and towels were clean and drinks facility was available - kettle- tea-coffee etc. Access via a steep staircase was dingy and unlit. Lights in the bathroom were broken The shower was a mixer tap type with little control of the water flow and it was either extremely hot or extremely cold- there was no adequate mixer facility nor anti scold device fitted.

The room was clean and the bathtub in the en suite was great! The lounge downstairs was cozy with good internet....The breakfast wasn't as good as a lot of b & Bs but it was alright... I would stay again, my only complaint was it was a little bit of a damp house which wasn't good for my cold that I had.

Well run and very affordable hotel for an overnight stay. The manager was extremely pleasant and personally communicated with me prior to arrival to check my expected time of check in. I would highly recommend the Nebula Hotel for anyone looking for an affordable overnight stay with breakfast.

Did not like anything very much, although the rooms were serviced daily it appeared that the shower was not cleaned daily, the tea making facility was not replenished as it should have been & the plastic tea spoons should be replaced by propper tea spoons. The corridor & rooms had a strong pungent odour & it appeared that a cat was allowed to roam the premisis. The cat was scratching the bedroom doors some mornings. As an asthma sufferer this was not good, In purposley left my asthma medication out as an indication but this was apparently ignored. The cat being allowed to roam & the pungent odour could possibly bring into question Health & Safety. The cooked breakfast on first day was cold indicating pre prepared, some of the cereals were stale indicating that they were not checked on a regular basis or just left open.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly at all times. The hotel was what I would have expected for a cornish establishment. I would'nt be the same without all the 'olde worlde' things in it. It had a lovely comfortable lounge area which was very homely with a massive woodburner. The breakfast was well cooked and presented. I would stay there again. The decor was in need of a bit of attention. Rooms would seem more homely if they were colour co-ordinated for example. The light up the stairs was not working which was trickly for my 84 year father to see properly. I know that sounds petty but should be addressed in case of any accidents.

Staff were excellent, helped carry my wife's luggage right to the room, showed us the shower operation. Very friendly and helpful. Got us hot chocolate for the breakfast when they didn't have it the first day. Gave us directions to nearby restaurants when they met us in the pub. The shower heater worked when he showed it to us but didn't work that night. They immediately opened another room up for us to shower in.

A very comfortable room, and excellent beds - we slept very soundly. Although on the street, there was little overnight traffic. A short walk to the town centre (although could be challenging for the less-mobile, as it's hilly!). Excellent selectuon of tourist literature for those unfamilar with the area. Breakfast was substantial and well-cooked. Very friendly hotel.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - clean, not greasy and plenty of variety. We stayed here as we were going to a wedding nearby. Having a front door key was perfect for us as we didnt know when it would end and the owner was happy to have us return when it suited us.

Very pleasant and helpful landlord who tried to comply with our request for a quiet room. Location was appropriate for our short stay in Cornwall. Very good breakfast and dining area nicely laid out. We needed an evening meal and were told we would be welcome to bring a takeaway meal to eat in the hotel lounge which we thought was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. Couldn't improve the volume on the television which seemed to be on a very low setting. Also the bathroom basin was very small and the tap was a little loose. However these are minor points.

Great value b&b and good place to stay for nearby looe rail link, enjoyed discovering the town, loads of (very) hot water and generous bath room space. Reasonable presented breakfast. Didn't like pool table being used in breakfast/dining room, allthough we appreciated the hot water-it was very hot and my wife suffered a minor scald to her ankle from a splash, should have warning sign perhaps.also the lovely bathroom could have been even better if the bath sealer had been renovated. Plus bacon was a little under cooked! Despite the negative comments here, please note overall the nebula is a great low priced place to stay in liskeard and I would not hesitate a return visit or recommending to others.

We stayed at the nebula while visiting family in the area. Overall the hotel was fine but just in need of a serious update. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. When booking this hotel you need to consider the price. It was cheap and clean which is as good as I would expect from a budget hotel The hotel needed a refurb. It was old and run down
