There are lots of independent cafés, restaurants and shops, beautiful sandy beach. It’s easy to visit nearby coastal towns like Margate where you can visit the Turner Contemporary - highly recommended.

Been scores of times over my life - this was the first long weekend to see relatives who now live in Broadstairs - it's a beautiful English seaside town with tons of history and the best beaches, I think, in the south of England - wonderful for summer swimming (especially stone bay). has a great community feel, good restaurants and pubs and is wonderful for kids and oldies alike.

we had a stake evening meal meal that was expensive and was a small portion for the price the cooked for was OK but not what i was expecting from what is presumed to be a high class hotel that fell well short of expectations. i would NOT stay there again mainly because there is NO parking at the hotel and it made exploring the area not some to do as you would not know where you could park the car when returning.

Lovely old fashioned seaside resort, nice ambience, lots of good restaurants and bars. Very central for visiting lots of other places in Kent eg Margate and Ramsgate. Good for walking. Would especially recommend The Tartar Frigate and Number Twenty Seven for lovely food and seafood and Samworth and Mee in the summer months.

Lovely bustling seaside town , not a large variety of shopping options but several gift shops, plenty of cafes and restaurants which were buzzing , giving a nice atmosphere . Ate at Sardinia and the jetty . Both were lovely , Sardinia exceptional .
Lots of walking options if you want
We had an amazing stay in this luxury apartment. Very spacious and stylish and just a short drive away from Margate, Broadstairs, and Ramsgate. Our host was very friendly and thoughtful and even provided us with breakfast and snack items. The beds were super comfortable. Everything from decor to amenities was well thought out. We would love to stay again!
Decor was fresh and gave the coastal feel, the room was really clean and the view over looking the sea was just perfect. The bed was so comfortable, breakfast was freshly cooked with good service.
Internet connection is poor
It’s a great location between Margate and Broadstairs, which ware both about. 3 mile walk . Lovely beach just by the hotel aswell
Hotel was in a good location. Very friendly and informative staff and made me feel very welcome to stay there. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was very impressed with the choices of what you could have for breakfast.
Location was amazing - a lovely beach stones throw from the front door. Parking is a huge bonus in this part of the coast. The apartment had everything you needed and more. Very well decorated and clean.
This hotel was very clean and room was lovely, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. The hotel has a beautiful garden to enjoy and have a drink. The beach is only a walk away .
The location is just right for me as I have fiends that I visit in both Ramsgate & Broadstairs & I can park near to the hotel. Staff are friendly & always deal with queries promptly & efficiently.
The location, facilities and price was perfect for my families week away to the seaside. We had never travelled to Broadstairs before, so the Canterbury Bell was a great base for us to stay in.
The place was lovely and clean and accurately shown in the photos. It was clean and tidy and felt private. Good location for walking and parking was fine (although better to reverse in)
The room was excellent as was the breakfast. Your staff were superb and very friendly. I would highly recommend your hotel to anyone I know looking for somewhere to stay in Broadstairs
Stunning property, facilities above and beyond expectations. Cannot fault this property and would be extremely happy to be able to stay there each time in Broadstairs
Very helpful my tv wouldn't work so got moved immediately to a new better room. Very happy with that outcome. Lovely place. Stay again if I was in Kent again
Everything was lovely and a large selection of teas and snacks .A truly exceptional place to stay. This let is spacious with interior design at its finest...
