Idyllic countryside position, conveniently located not far from the main road to Lyme Regis. Pleasant, relaxed welcome from John. Plenty of space in the suite with double bedroom, separate bathroom (enormous bath/shower!) and separate sitting room/kitchenette. The fridge was very useful, also the TV in the sitting room/kitchenette and the TV/DVD player in the bedroom. Amazing view across the Axe Valley! Friendly herd of cows opposite. Ample, tasty breakfast brought up to the room. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent service, room, breakfast, TV in lounge with DVD player, DVD and books provided a good selection.lots of information on local area, things to do, we were given excellent walking instructions to the local pub, a local Indian restaurant was recommended by Sue and John which we really enjoyed. We will be definitely staying in the studio again it was delightful.

Seating area outside studio cramped, it would have been nice to have seating with more space as we enjoyed excellent weather whilst there.

The annexe where we stayed was really clean and had everything that you could want for a short stay. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us, with a gluten-free breakfast and directions to River Cottage where I was doing a course. The weather was brilliant and showed off the beautiful scenery to full advantage.

The only possible nitpick was the table outside the annexe, which had a top which was coming apart.

Nice friendly couple who made us welcome. Large comfortable room with all facilities available. Breakfast was plentiful with tastes catered for.

Was a bit remote for me. The local pub on a duel carrigeway was not ideal. Taxi in & out of Lyme Regis was £15 each way

We stayed a single night in the 'snug' room which was excellent. Great breakfast brought into the room at the required time. John & Sue are great hosts and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay there.

The King room was absolutely Lovely. John and Sue are wonderfully friendly people. The Bedroom is large and spacious with an ensuite with a big double bath to die for. The bed is especially comfy (probably how we managed to sleep through our alarm) The living room area next door is fab too (2 tvs so one can sit in the living room, one in the bedroom) The breakfast was delicious. An overall wonderful stay. Thankyou :)

Room was small, we stayed in the Snug, but it was lovely comfortable and welcoming. The owners have just got it right, all the facilities you need, and the plus of having a balcony. We slept soundly and had a wonderful breakfast brought to us in our room.Thoroughly enjoyed an excellent B&B.

It was such a lovely studio, we were able to be totally free to come and go as we liked. It was great to have our own kitchen area to make drinks and snacks along with a sitting area. Best of all was the morning knock at the door and being served with a delicious cooked breakfast!!

The people running this place have gone out of their (and our) way to making the stay as pleasant as it possibly could have been. They've made sure to think of things you didn't know you needed to think of, but that do contribute for a pleasant stay. Very well equipped rooms with fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster in the lounge and DVD player *with* DVDs, list of nearby restaurants and pubs. Flatscreen in both rooms - We may not have used all of these facilities but appreciate that they were available for use and clean. Upon leaving we were chased up as we had left a jacket in the cupboard (not ours) - very thoughtful.

The wifi was usable but kept disconnecting and reconnecting (though this may well have been a compatibility issue of my old laptop). Also, I'm nitpicking here, 2 out of the 5 bulbs of the lounge light had gone.

Having breakfast served in our room. The balcony outside our room with table and chairs where we could sit out.

The driveway up to the b&b which was quite steep

We really enjoyed our stay in the studio apartment. All our needs catered for and I was so impressed by Sue producing gluten free bread and sausages for breakfast, which I had forgot when booking, which was superb. It is the best B & B that we have stayed in and would certainly recommend it to others. We also enjoyed the stroll to the Hunters Lodge Inn, where their meals are excellent and they also understand the gluten free diet.

    Could not fault anything.

We occupied the snug room. It was correctly described as small, but everything was there. Breakfast served in the room.

Difficult to find. It is situated in a road where all the properties have names, and no numbers. Having found the road, first time we drove past the property, and only spotted it after we turned round and drove back.

The location was ideal for access to Axminster where I was doing a woodturning course. The location of the building was stunning with views difficult to equal anywhere. The breakfast and conscientious hospitality were both excellent.

Parking was not easy and would be off-putting to some I imagine - particularly in Winter.
