Good size accommodation, 24 hr porter, location near museums
Decor a bit tired.
staff, rooms, noise from outside and inside hotel. The bathrooms were dirty and the overall apartment was also very unclean.
It was about a 4 minute walk from South Kensington Tube. The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful, plus there was a small Sainsburys 1 minute away. Great views from the upstairs rooms. We spent the first night in a ground floor room which was very dark and cold plus people were walking past the window constantly but we asked to be moved and the next day we got an upstairs room which was lovely and warm.
The room is much smaller than imagined from photo and if someone is travelling with a lot of luggage or clothes there isn't a lot of room. There was only one bedlight and side table so it wasn't too great to read in bed.
Close and convenient to tube and shops.
A little bit to small, as no room to put bags without falling over them.
It was really comfortable like a little home away from home. I loved it!
The location, the apartment was a bit small but ok for 2 ppl
The TV was to small and it was cold in the room
Comfortable, clean, well serviced. Close to South Ken Tube station, 10 min walk.
The accomadation was very handy to South Kensington near shops, restaurants and bars
Accomadation very poor standard needs refurbishing and improve decor in rooms tv not working bathroom needs updated more modern shower required
Other than the location and beautiful new foyer, we found nothing else to recommend.
The staff were not very helpful, the room was very old and run down, nothing like the photos. We were upgraded in our apartment and then charged for two rooms and were told the receptionist didn't know what she was telling us about the upgrade, she is only the receptionist.
Spacious and clean apartment with equipped kitchenette
Not much .
The apartment was adequate for what we needed, its location; it had a fridge, washing machine, two elements and small oven and two toilets albeit they were cramped into tiny spaces.
The word 'luxury' on the advertising board at the hotel entrance bore no relationship to the apartment we had. The named carpet in the foyer was dirty; in the flat the woodwork had been painted over so often it wasn't peeling off it was dropping off in chunks. Although it had a semblance of double glazing it didn't keep out any noise. Basically it was a tired old girl that needs a good tarting up.
Maintance staff, when assisting with water leak in bathroom.
Staff refusal to access Scottish notes and reason given for not accepting as payment. Leaking bathroom required us to move rooms. One lift at front was not working. Our luggage bag and interior contents was wet after room cleaning completed in the second room.
Small room, kettle did not work, water pressure in tap meant turning it on resulted in spraying the kitchen. When reporting this to staff, they did not take a note and it seemed nothing would be done about it.
Location. Good spot 10 minute walk from Harrods and close to hop on hop off bus tour stops. Local sainsburys next door for supplies and couple of pubs nearby that serve good food
Mix up with booking , we booked two 1 bedroom apts. ended up with 4 apts and had to split family up to fit not ideal but we managed
The location is great. That's all.
The room was insanely small, the freezer didn't work, I was cooking dinner when I saw a rat walking in front of the window. The cooking utensils were poor. There were a lot of noise of people walking around during the night. (I found out that 2 prostitutes worked on the second floor...). After one week there, the house keeper complained with me that I was using the shower. According to her "this is not america, we don't have glasses near the shower", so even though there WAS a shower in the bathroom I HAD TO use the bath tub and ONLY the bath tub. The receptionists need to learn how to smile. This place is terrible and it's not worth the price. I wouldn't stay there again even if there was a 95% discount.
cleaning staff were top notch my studio which was tiny was cleaned every day and cleaned well. the front of house staff lacked being a help with any tourist information. i am lucky because i lived in London for three years on a working holiday many years ago.
i cannot understand why i had no stovetop frypan and microwave when other same accommodation type had both does limit what you can cook. i received no reply to my inquiry.
Staff unable to explain adequately why we were upgraded and then charged for two rooms and extra housekeeping for a room we didn't have after our bookings were cancelled twice. The apartment was very old and run down, nothing like the photos. Very disappointed. The staff are able to speak several languages but unfortunately English was not their first in most cases making an explanation and getting directions difficult.
The location. The manager eventually responded to my disappointment with the standard if the apartment I was first given.
Everything else. The apartment that was offered was far from the pictures on the website. The bathroom and toilet were so tiny that only a midget could fit. I took it up with them and to be fair they did offer another apartment but was still sub-standard and after wanting to check out early the manager Charlie moved us after one day to a more suitable one.
Check out time is 10.00 am. which is too early.
Room facilities, T.V. only one channel, no microwave, temperature was mild but room very stuffy no ceiling fan or fan at all. Bathroom run down, cracked tiles leaking shower and taps
Overpriced accommodation and maid service. Cooktop didn't work adequately.
It was close to things, but really so are a lot of things, would stay somewhere else for the same benefit next time
filfthy room had to wash floor before i felt i could walk on it. Towels are not changed daily unless you pay extra 5 pounds a towel.
The location was good, walking distance from Sloane square and the underground
The hotel was not as good as the pictures showed, quite to the contrary, it is run down and in need of a makeover. There was nowhere to unpack/hang ones clothes, the room was very noisy from the sounds on the road below and they don't change the linen for 7 days. A very disappointing experience.
just 3 minutes off from Kings road. close to both Sloane Square station And Suth Kensington station. 1 minute walk from Sainsburys express.
TV not proper working condition. Blind curtain partially broken.
Brill location convenient for our purpose
Little bit shabby on the decor but overall was fine for our needs
