Stayed in a studio for a week. Location is just superb, with lots of points of interest in walking distance. Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes and utensils. Bed is comfortable and big, though a bit old.
Changing bedsheets and towels comes at extra price, consider that if you plan to stay for longer. Janitors were ringing the doorbell every morning at 9:30 to check if we're still in the room, even though we were always leaving after 11:00. On the last night before our flight back fire alarm ringed and entire hotel had to evacuate. Firemen checked only something on the ground floor, which most likely means that it was an incident in restaurant's kitchen and not in the rooms, i.e. staff's fault.
Location good & staff excellent
Entrance lobby gave an upmarket impression, appropriate for Kensington and Chelsea. However, that was where it ended.
Apartment could do with some TLC. Tiles in shower room hanging off wall, paintwork shabby. Shower head would not fix in a position so had to be handheld. Units in kitchen shabby with corners peeling off. Could do with supplying a hairdryer too.
a brilliant location. lots of hot water.
décor VERY tired looking. bath tiny. corridors suffocatingly hot and narrow. double bed very small - and felt short too.
This property is in a great location and for the location the rate is affordable.
This property is in need of some serious maintence and modernisation and some comfortable beds.
the clean room and the white beddings as requested.
that there is no dining hall for meals
Payed for 1 X1bed and 1x2 bed got 2 1 bed apartments asked to close to each other as children in one we got 4 th floor and 8th floor should of got refund staff not interested on leaving didn't even ask how our stay was not good enough would appreciate a follow up call please
Location, good value. Everything you needed.
The room was so hot, the bathroom was literally like a sauna. It was quiet but didn't sleep well as the heat was too much! Much smaller than I expected too.
Helpful staff, convenient to sites, restaurants and shopping.
The Street it is on is noisy
Good location Friendly staff Comfortable bed
V hot in apartment Furniture v basic
Location was fair.
On first floor it was noisy as you had to keep the windows open. The room was stuffy. No internet and had to buy a card from BT but at a premium price. Taxi ordered through the reception did not arrive on time.
Location, warm room, quiet
Staff were not helpful when there was no hot water two mornings during my stay. The response was just, "an engineer is coming to fix it," with no apology.
Brochure gives a very different impression.Room too small for uncomfortable double bed. Being a solo traveller a single would have allowed room for a suitcase. No free wifi totally unreal, even coffee shops have free Wifi. Front desk staff, good.
Location only 5 minutes from South Kensington tube stop. several good pubs/resturants in the area. V and A just around the corner Grocery store w/in a block.
Rooms are TINY!! Cold not walk by the end of the bed. Had to sidle. Kitchen really small and not well equipped. Outside rooms are on a street and there is a fair amount of noise. We had a room on the back, so not terrible. If you can luck into an upper floor it might be quieter. approach to Heathrow is very nearby and they come at 30 sec. intervals from about 5AM to about 1AM.
location own kitchen own key
Breakfast Ladies loitering outside entrance every night
excellent location & great price for London! Kitchenettes are a very nice to have and there is a Sainsbury's next door. The maids will clean dishes and put everything back together for you. Staff is very helpful, and a whole office of administrators you can go to if you have a problem! Did I mention key location???
washer/dryer: dryer doesn't seem to work. Maids smoking outside my room so constant smell of cigarette smoke. It's a little bit dingy, but I can make the sacrifice to be able to stay in South Kensington for this price!
Bathroom was flooding
The best thing i liked was the location of this property. The room was quite comfortable & clean.
We reached quite late at night & we wanted some extra sheets...the staff wasnt very considerate & was quite rude.
Great Location, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, relatively quiet, value for money!
Good location, value for money, prompt attention to any problems
Did not look as good as the publicity shots and smaller than expected. Some problems but they were fixed quickly.
The location was really super The appartment was spacious and clean We were upgraded to a larger appartment.
The cleaning lady that wakes you up at 9am on a sunday That the departure time is 10am
Good size accommodation, 24 hr porter, location near museums
Decor a bit tired.
staff, rooms, noise from outside and inside hotel. The bathrooms were dirty and the overall apartment was also very unclean.
It was about a 4 minute walk from South Kensington Tube. The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful, plus there was a small Sainsburys 1 minute away. Great views from the upstairs rooms. We spent the first night in a ground floor room which was very dark and cold plus people were walking past the window constantly but we asked to be moved and the next day we got an upstairs room which was lovely and warm.
The room is much smaller than imagined from photo and if someone is travelling with a lot of luggage or clothes there isn't a lot of room. There was only one bedlight and side table so it wasn't too great to read in bed.
