Location. Value for money. Self-catering facilities.
Central city location means, inevitably, some night noise.
Close to taxis and tube. Sainsbury's nearby.
Smoke alarms gong off frequently. Scary being on 7th floor if lifts aren't working.
Great location and 24 hour reception; friendly staff and comfortable apartment with great views
Location and convenience.
The apartment hadn't been updated and had the old windows, albeit with secondary glazing. It overlooked Sloane Avenue and wasn't as quiet as I would have liked.
Comfortable and clean accommodation in a fantastic location.
Some of the staff don't seem to realise they're working in the service industry - they were sometimes offhand and occasionally downright rude.
since i last visited this hotel it has improved a little. my room was recently refurbished with new flooring. Unfortunately they put an old worn table back in.
still a bit rundown in places. why dont they put decent doors on outside of rooms.?
The location was excellent in terms of easy access to/from tubes etc.
Lots of traffic noise. The peeling paint on the front door. The size of the room was tiny. The bathroom was very tired and dated. There was no hairdryer. The fire alarm went off at 8.40 a.m. Sunday morning and no one helped or asked us to vacate the building or let us know what was going on.
We have previously not been impressed but still stayed at Chelsea Cloisters due to its convenient location. On this occasion we were well received and got a nice room.
However, all the rooms we have experienced in this building needs refurbishment. The wind is blowing through the windows. Furniture old and not very fresh anymore.
Location. The small kitchen. Very Useful for Breakfast.
Extremelly small bed. Although they charge for cleaning services they dont provide towels. They come at an extra charge of 5 pounds per day per towel. NO Free Wi Fi on 2014. Extremely noisy if you are unlucky and your room is on the front of the building
Excellent location close to tube and Victoria & Albert museum. Superb time to see the Tower of London poppies after all the crushes earlier.
Noisy at night but to be expected as restaurant v close opened late. Not too unbearable just happy people going home after a good night out.
Location and size of apartment.
Apartment was very tired...in need of serious refurbishment. Furniture tatty. Our apartment did not look like any on the website or brochure.
Everything about the place. How it is rated 3 stars I don't know? Looks nothing like the photos in reality. I felt duped into booking this horrible place.
Heater in the bathroom accidentally make me scalded
Friendly staff, great location 10mins walk to Harrods, Harvey Nichols etc. Sainsbury local 2mins away . Apartments' basic but clean .
Sofa bed thin mattress, very hard to sleep on . Busy road at night so quite noisy , zebra crossing used a lot . Tv did not have all channels
Location as it is near to tube and nearby amenities.
extremely uncomfortable sofa bed as it was like sleeping on wooden pallets. Was wondering why the sofa bed was made up on arrival, which made the living area un-useable due to very small floor space, but it was to hide the sofa which was in very poor conditioned with tears and stuffing coming out everywhere (would usually see better in a skip). Flooring was very cheap and squeaked every time you took a step. Unable to fill sink due to ill fitting plug. When I went to use the extractor hood above the cooker hob the filter element fell down onto the hob. thankfully nothing hot on the hob !!!!!
Bedroom was nice
Kitchen was very dated with a damp smell. Sofa bed was uncomfortable and broken the bedding was poor for sofa bed. Bathroom window was old with cracks and very cold.
The reason I didn't like it was because when we arrived some in the party didn't know & some hardly knew each other. Despite booking 2 appartments we were pushed into a 2 bedroom apartment with no way of changing. This was very awkward & not acceptable. Not on one occasion did we receive an apology. It made it very awkward for us all. I would be very reluctant to book this for a group again.
the staff friendly and efficient the location the tv and the room
the bed sofa mattress and cover were badly soiled and the toilet door would not close
Centrally situated,usefull for three people
Bed settee small and not very comfortable, could do with another chair in lounge
Location. Value for money.
Drawstring switch in the loo. Imagine the bacteria.
We liked the location of Chelsea Cloisters as we could walk to everywhere that we wanted. The quite smart lobby / reception area was welcoming
Our apartment was old and scruffy and did not seem to have received any maintenance or repairs for some time. The furnishings were very basic. Our son had a one bed apartment that was vastly superior to ours for the same price. This should not be a lottery. If one apartment is not as good as another, then it should be priced accordingly.
I was upgraded on arrival to an apartment, although not with daily maid service, the room was spacious, clean and with everything you might need. The location is great, close to Sth Kensington and Sloane Square tubes and the Kings Road.
The room was looking tired The bedroom was in need of a re furb
The staff is amazing. Helpfull. The location is perfect. Beds are comfortable.
They change linen once in a week(8 nights) or only once in a stay!!! If you are staying for ten days they will change it the 9th day!!! If you want to change them before, you ll have to pay for it!!!! This is not convinient at all.
Close to King's Road; close to So Ken Tube Station; Close to Sloan Square, lots of tasty pubs and restaurants within walking distance; 24 hour front desk staffed by friendly people; easy for the Taxi driver to find (a short ride from Victoria Station).
Business staff discouraged me having a telephone and WiFi in our room. I tried to establish a telephone account and a WiFi account, but the staff essentially told me to "save my money" and use the free WiFi in near-by bars and stores. They also told me to use my (Spanish) mobile phone rather than establishing a telephone account in the room. I understand that they wanted to save me money, but they also seemed to NOT want to provide the service. On the last day I asked them to print my airline boarding pass (from a thumb drive). They replied that they could NOT do that. I can't believe they do not have a computer and printer that will accept a PDF file from my thumb drive. The hotel needs to get current with electronic features, and If I ask for WiFi or a printout, they need to provide it.
