Staff Position near the Tube Quiet and well served
No air conditioning, limited faulty fans. Two rooms booked for family, separated from each other.
Only the location but nothing else.
Very old apartment with very old and uncomfortable furniture, only 1 bathroom in aprtment for 5 persons is so bad & the bathroom is super small and old , the kitchen equepments is poor and old, very old wash machine, the floors are barquet and very old so when we walk it makes sounds its so noisy specially at sleeping time, the beds are uncomfortable at all couldnt sleep well, never ever think to back again Was a bad experience
Stayed here before in a one bedroom apartment which was great, we stayed in a studio apartment which I wouldn't recommend if you were staying for more than two nights as it was very tiny. Great location though.
We spent a great week at this hotel. The room was large and spacious, we use the kitchen, the washing machine without problems. Had much sun in the morning, and a very beautiful view. The area is very quiet, and the neighborhood is very elegant. Had room service every day, and the room was always clean. The staff were attentive. Has supermarket and near starbucks, and is very close to the subway station, in addition to restaurants and shops nearby. Surely hostel me again.
How had much sun in the morning, the curtains were not appropriate to block the light.
Locality. Comfortable and reasonably spacious rooms. All facilities you need to be self sufficient
Found staff not very friendly or helpful. They never smiled. Hopeless lifts. Only two and one broken down while we were there. Very very slow
Great location. 24hour access. Pleasant, clean studio. Helpful staff.
Coffee and tea making facilities Bath
Had to pay for internet
Friendly and helpful people. Location is wonderful...walking distance from the museums, Hyde Park, Kings road and South Kensington tube station.
Room was a bit small and although the location was excellent...street noise could keep you up at night. I would recommend a pair of ear plugs or request a room that overlooks the courtyard...not very scenic but perhaps quieter.
Place not properly cleaned. Found in the bathroom the socks of the previous guest. No light in the kitchen. The concierge was informed but the bulb was not changed. The switch of the light in the bathroom is on the ceiling which is difficult to find or reach.
The location is excellent and South Ken is so easy to get to walks to Hyde Park, Harrods and city easy. Outside rooms are very hot and very loud!! Ask for courtyard.
The deal with wifi is simply not acceptable any more. I am happy to pay if I have to but seriously only one apparatus on a time is ridiculous ... Several trips to letting office to contact BT to unlock the account is do frustrating AND if I have paid for BT why can't I log inform anywhere in the city. This was the reason we moved to accom with free wifi rather than extend. This is my fourth stay in 8 years ... Unless sorted out not going back!
Easy access to subway.
There's no A/C. The room contained a fan, which did not function. The room size was quite small. The bathroom and kitchen were not very clean. There were several insects in both the bathroom and kitchen (appeared to be silverfish). The bed mattress was thin and very hard. There was significant street noise noticeable at night. The noise was exacerbated by the fact that the window needed to be left open due to lack of A/C.
Location; walking distance to South Kensington tube and Harrods
Needs improvements and renovations, Small rooms and bathrooms/kitchen, Extra towels are for 5 pounds each they change it once a week, not worth the money
The location The room was really comfortable
Lack of ventilation in Bathroom The shower was difficult to adjust Don't like showers in bathtubs!!
Very convenient and good position. Good parking. Second night stay was good. Would we book again knowing their unreliability?
When we arrived we were told the room we booked for the three of us ws I available and we could have two separate rooms instead. This did not suit our requirements and after complaining was put in a double room with a put up single bed. the street level room was very noisy, cramped and generally unpleasant. The second night we were moved to the room we had booked which was excellent. No recompense offered for this inconvenience.
Nothing but the location was good
Staff were untrained. What was advertised is not what you get. Rooms are pokey and unclean. The room was very HOT and we borrowed a Electric Fan which made it bearable. Safety features were non-existent. My Wife received an Electric Shock from the Stove Top and the Duty Staff did not respond to a request that she see a Doctor or have the Stove Top checked electrically. This Hotel is the "Faulty Towers" of London, do not stop here, keep moving, there are lots better for a little more money.
Location Reception Area
Mouldy Bed Linen Loose electrics Broken Shower Maid didn't know where anything was Abrupt Staff Pictures are nothing like what the rooms are like. Small, dated and poorly maintained.
It has a very good location and a lot of potential, but...
It needs urgent renovation. It looks like they doesn't really care about beds that are not suitable for sleeping any more and stuff like this. Also they don't keep the rule of not smoking, and during night it is very noisy especially at low levels.
1. The parking option 2. The bed was comfortable
the booking was made for 1 night stay. however the following was our negative view of the accommodation. 1. the bathroom tiles had mould on them. 2.the light in the kitchen was damaged and not fitted correctly 3. The maid had left the curtains open and it was too hot ( there was no ability to gain a breeze in the room 4.the room was far to small even for one night, the gap at the end of the bed and the cupboard as too small and I knocked myself several times on the door handle 5. Internet too expensive
Location was good
When we arrived to our room which was extremely small, not enough room to open our suite cases,i know it was a studio, which we coped with, the maintenance was very poor, when you opened the wardrobe door it fell on you as it was only held by the middle hinge,so I made it impossible to use the wardrobe, then when you wanted to fill the hand basin the plug would,t go up or down so it made it very difficult to wash you face or shave,we booked in on a sunday asked for an upgrade, the reply was we are full there will be vacant rooms on monday when asked on monday the same old story we are fully booked till the end of the week,i spoke to the duty manager who didnt give me the impression he was interested,we tried to get a 5 day internet connection ,they could,t give it to me until after 0900 on monday as they had run out of the vouchers,i had been in italy and france for two months and all the hotels wi fi was free, but not at chelsea cloisters ,it was about 28 pounds for five days and on our last day we could,t access our wi fi. Then during our second night the toilet handle came away in my hand ,the handy man had repaired it the night before ,I realise the toilet handle was something they would,t have known was going to break, but the other problems sh0uld been picked up by the staff cleaning the room, even after these problems were repaired ,no one from management spoke to us how we were and how was our stay, very very poor interest in their guests ,I checked out other apartments in the area and when I visit london again I would rent from them,as they seemed interested in guests as people ,I run a small hotel in sydney and I have never had a complaint about our maintenance, and if there is a complaint I investigate and speak to the guest, but that didnt happen at chelsea cloisters .
The Cloisters was close to family and friends, great for shopping and close to The V and A etc
The bathroom was rather tired.
We paid an unoptional $10 per day for daily cleaning that we were not impressed with. I think we had the floor swept once in the whole week. She did clean the toilet and sink, the rest I did myself. The front reception staff need lessons in how to smile.
The apartment was fairly basic but it worked fine for us. kitchen was refurbished and well equipped.beds were comfy.
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, but when we asked they bought in a different bed.
