Helpfulness and pleasant disposition of staff, particularly on reception. Cleanliness of rooms.

The cooked breakfast in the accompanying restaurant was not, in my opinion, up to the same standards as other facilities.

The room 5 is above a compressor that cuts in and out all night. It should be reserved for only the completely hard of hearing. I told the Manager so and I moved to one at the front the next night which was away from this noise and it was OK.

After a day of appalling weather and having worked through the day in the pouring rain, the hotel was conveniently located with comfortable and spacious accomodation. The shower could have done to be a little more powerful but the water was hot and with free wifi available I was able to catch up on office work later in the evening. The bar/restaurant was very good with reasonable prices and the breakfast the following morning was more than adequate for the price. All in all a very comfortable and pleasant stay for the price - will definitely stay again, highly recommended.

This hotel is very convenient when visiting our family who live in Selby and is very close to Selby town centre. We particularly like the fact that the hotel has a good restaurant. It is a short drive to the York Designer Outlet where cars can be left and the Park and Ride bus used to get into the centre of York. The buses leave every few minutes.

I thought it was good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was good. I thought the areas for children were excellent

The location is quiet due to the position away from the town. The bedroom is large and comfortable and the staff very helpful.

We stayed when it was first open and everything was new, obviously each time we stay it looks a little shabbier. It could do with a lick of paint here and there. Our room didnt have a plug for the wash basin (I told the receptionist & she said it would be dealt with) there was also a weird noise each time the toilet was flushed, this was very loud at night. Apart from these minor things, everything was great. I have just remembered that the last 2 times we have been we haven't been given tea-spoons with our tea cups (at breakfast) this is probably because there are no saucers. This is a nuisance but didn't spoil our breakfast!

Convenient to a meeting I had, also having the restaurant attached so I didnt have to leave the building.

Large, clean double room with a comfortable bed and quality bedding. Very friendly, helpful, polite staff. Easy access to motorway.
