We enjoy staying at Selby New Country Inn. It is clean warm and friendly. Our Son lives in Selby so it is ideal for us as they have limited space. I do not have any complaints about the hotel but I do feel that breakfast at the adjoining restaurant is very poor value for money |

The full english breakfast.The bar and waiting staff were very friendly and professional as was the receptionists. A receptionist gave us a key to a room knowing the lock to be faultyand we would have trouble accessing our accomodation, she eventually gave us a master key. having travelled just 300 mls we were not amused.Considering there was two of us there was only 1 teabag 3 milks 2 coffees 1 hot chocolate we had to ask for extra.Breakfast should have been included in the price of the room. |

It was in a good position close to Selby railway station which gave good access to the city of York. It was a modern hotel with comfortable rooms. Felt a bit un-easy walking back from the train station late at night. |

Location for family visit to Selby No telephone in room; only one chair for sitting between two people; room (no.12) was directly above children's play area and the swing door into was not dampened therefore continual banging until play area closed. |

Room & bathroom were clean & modern. Later morning checkout is definite advantage, Only downside was room being at back of hotel. This was noisier due to extractor/heating fan and delivery.storage yard. |

The rooms were very clean with everything we needed. The attached restaurant was excellent with lovely meals which you didn't have to wait long for. Also the continental breakfast was just right for us and at a reasonable price. Many Thanks for a most enjoyable weekend. |
