Location was ideal for my business meeting.

Net curtains had a tear in them and no grab rail for shower.

The way they treated us at breakfast time. After booking a table for five on the previous day, they didn't have anythig ready and it took them ages.

Lighting in bedroom was not very good could not read it was so bad this needs to be sorted room 12 Also no signs to turn into hotel you can see hotel but it is on a industral estate with no signs to tell you this the road to it runs through the estate

Location ideal for visiting family in local area. Good family friendly, and reasonably priced restaurant / bar attached with plenty of activities for young children.

Fire alarm sounded at 07.30 in morning twice due to guests leaving bathroom doors open and setting off alarm / smoke detector. Reported this to reception who explained it happened all the time. Toilet leaking from under built in unit also reported to reception (room 29) looked like it had been leaking for some time as floor was distorted. Was offered another room

Cleanliness, helpful staff all around hotel, inside play area and park for children, food and easy parking.

Room was comfortable and good facilities in room.

Breakfast wasn't worth the money. There wasnf good variety. The tea and coffee were cold, how ever when this brought to the attention of staff they did replace it straight away which was good.

Great place to stay. We had 3 rooms booked as we were attending a wedding in nearby Selby. Excellent breakfast!

Air conditioning unit at the back of the building was very noisy - above Rm 5. Not major problem though

Brilliant! We stayed in Selby and caught the train into York for a night out. We will definitely be staying again...sooner rather than later!

I asked the bar for a sandwich but they had already stopped serving them!!!

Small details regarding the room: no extra pillows in the room, dozens of cigarette butts on the flat roof outside the window and no soap in the dispenser by the sink.

Had to pay for the exclusive level room as only one left, Spar bath broken, glass sink had a large crack and leaked, sink tap was not secure. Waited ages to check in as lady on desk was chatting on the phone.

Spacious rooms. Good menu with wide variety. Receptionist very helpfull

No signage to hotel off the main road - drove past it round it - round again before entering what appeared to be industrial estate. Breakfast had all the ingredients but was presented a bit sloshy in terms of the beans and tomato swooshing the rest of the items. Needs more thought when serving up.

On arrival into room bed was not made, cigarette ash was in bin in bedroom and room smelt of smoke. We do not smoke and were attending a wedding so most unpleasant. Staff moved us straight away to another room...disabled room was the only availability. Bed extremely low as we're other facilities. Black slime under sink taps, brown stains in toilet, mould hanging under shower curtain rail, dusty vanity area and around edge of carpets.

Quality of lighting in room - very poor - especially for late-night reading.

The overall appearance of the hotel is good. Easily reachable by road from the M62. A reasonable menu selection at reasonable prices

The room

The breakfast was very poor and not good value for money. It was not freshly cooked and burnt and took 20 minutes to replace by which time we did not have time to eat it.

a bit of noise from rooms above. ( heavy feet noise) and late at night .. after 12.00 midnight. bathroom needs some TLC. around toilet area.

Value for money, friendly staff. Bed very comfortable, although slightly bigger would be better especially for two people.

Breakfast! Booked full english. Hardly had time to eat cereal before plate was put in front of us....Coffee tasted like it had sat on the table for 3 days - very strong and lukewarm. On Sunday morning 3 tables with children, no bowls for cereals - had to ask twice, fruit looked old and tired. Tinned fruit would be better. This seriously needs looking at.

Price, room size.

Slow service for extra toast @breakfast even though there were only 2 other coulpes present.

Restaurant not having what I wish to order,no waiter service the noise in the room from some motor all night This was my 45th wedding night not impressed
