close to curry mile, manchester uni, friendly, clean, good price .
The hotel had parking and was easy to find. It was about a half an hour walk to the city centre with lots of places to eat nearby. Room was clean but needed a little TLC to smarten it up i.e. part of the wooden door frame missing in bathroom. Shower was hot and nice, but I would have liked a blind on the bathroom window. Good value so probably would use again.
No blind on bathroom window. Room needed a little TLC.
Good location and parking facility, nice and quite clean room
Not being able to open the blind in the room
GOOD ALL ROUND
WI FI IN ROOM 3
The room's bed and furniture are of cheap product and flimsy. The door is very thin with very outdated lock more suitable for 90's instead of 21st century. The building itself is also old GBP65 per night for a twin sharing room is expensive for this kind of hotel
Friendly helpful staff. Good location for the uni. Great pillows and extra supplied promptly
Halal breakfast- not that it was nt very nice because it was but we would have liked to have known to expect it.
Location, WiFi, large bed room and parking.
Bedside lights did not work and the shower cubicle was small. No bar.
The staff who greeted us was a pleasant man with plenty of tips to get you round manchester
We felt uncomfortable when in the dining room for breakfast with other guest who were staying there.. Hence didn't go for breakfast Sunday morning
Parking and let me stay rest of day whilst I was looking at the university Free wifi Location near curry mile Friendly staff
Location means noisy till late Beds bit worn out
The staff were all very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. The room was very clean.
The bedroom was basic, but fit for purpose and clean. I slept well.
Clean, tidy well equipped, comfortable with friendly helpful staff.
The wellcome and hospitality
Room was pretty shabby, paint peeling off the walls etc. Very noisy hotel, not good!
Cooked Breakfast Advice on local attractions (i.e. places to eat on Curry Mile- fantastic)
Pillow a little hard but not a major issue
Nice people. Convenient location.
In need of some refurbishment. Noisy at night.
The services were super.
Great location, very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Buses were only £1 into city centre and the bus stop was just a short walk from the hotel. Free secure parking.
No hairdryer. I asked for an extra pillow as only 1 on the bed.
comfortable stay and valve for money
Staff very nice Spotlessly clean Breakfast Parking Everything really
Everything about this hotel I liked, staff, location, food, comfort and cleanliness
no air con or fan other than that nothing..............
Very friendly and polite staff. Free wifi.
The room was awful - damaged, peeling, dirty walls; no mirror in room; temperamental shower (no water on first three attempts); barely any light in bathroom; bedroom furniture looked like it had been picked up from a second hand shop; no curtains just thin white blinds; noise from hotel and street at all hours; tired looking mismatched towels, one brown, one blue with what looked like hair dye stains. Even the UHT milks for tea making were off. Such a shame as staff were lovely, but the roomwas awful.
Great service!! Nice guy on front desk over night very helpful and relaxed thumbs up
Walking distance from University Free car parking on site Friendly and helpful staff Room was clean
Quite basic and run down. Would have liked to know beforehand that the breakfast was Halal.
Riz on the evening absolutely brilliant. Friendly kind a real switched on business man. We watched Holland v's Argentina semi-final downstairs and Riz made us an amazing mint tea. Front dinning area looks out onto pleasant view even in the middle of Manchester. Appeared clean Value for money
Morning staff. Place suffers when Riz is not there. Breakfast although included was poor my quorn sausage was identical to my son's chicken sausage, croissant eventually arrived. Some confusion over order. Hotel looks like is has recently been taken over and money is being spent to refurbish bit by bit, so some things like ripped wallpaper and decorating will be done at some point. No curtains in bedroom, it had blinds but not sufficient to keep out morning sunlight. Noisy magpies but out of control of hotelier
The quality bedding and towels. The catering staff at breakfast
The old blind in the bedroom. The noisy neighbours (next house) in the morning and evening. Not terrible but a bit disruptive
