Score from 682 reviews Very good
freindly staff very helpfull
food was good, staff very friendly and helpful xx
room quite basic and could do with decorating.
Breakfast, comfortable, clean
Noise penetration from reception, I could hear people chatting in the night
Ok -great location one minute walk from buses/curry mile yet quiet. Staff friendly, breakfast great, free wifi, comfy bed, well equipped room, good price.
Only one bad thing.. my room (14) a single room smelt badly of ?? Old smoke/?damp?? Not nice. Other than that good budget hotel.
Free wifi, tv in bedroom, private bathroom, comfy bed, friendly staff, tea/coffee and biscuits in the room.
The person on reception was very nice, went down hill after that!
First no plug for basin, only one bedside cabinet no room for another. Very hot room, next to boiler so wall really hot. Also every time anyone had hot water we heard the boiler kick in which is not great at4.00 am!! Don't eat the biscuit on first night you don't get anymore. No wardrobe just 5 coat hangers and a small rail so don't take dresses they don't fit on the rail! Shower either water from fridge or water from kettle, I wasn't able to go under it! Nothing going for this bed and breakfast avoid at all costs!
Good taxi service from hotel
All staff is very help full especially manager Rizwan Khan was exceptionally nice and very hospitable.
we liked the breakfast.
a bit shabby, could do with some decorating.
We stayed here to attend a function at the Antwerp Mansion. Only a two minute walk so no cabs needed. Just on the doorstep on the curry mile. Staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us.
Very helpful staff, ordered us a taxi for our destination for the evening, and they were happy to swap from a twin bed to double bed set up at short notice. Bottled water and snacks on welcome tray in the room. Lots of choice at breakfast.
No bedside light but otherwise all we needed from a budget hotel
Location good. On first view, hotel looked good. Staff helpful up to a point.
First room offered smelt badly - think it was due to the drains. Second room was very basic and box like. Several places where joinery / plumbing / fittings hadn't been finished off. Several options for cooked breakfast but meagre portions and quality poor.
Free wi with a strong signal. Was also offered free printing if I wanted - a first!
No bacon for brekkie - booked because it incl a full English brekkie only to find out no bacon :( Additionally light kept cutting out in bathroom - told front desk & was told yeah it does that!
Friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was well stocked and adequate. Room to park my car outside hotel.
Showers in both rooms did not work. My friend had to use another room for her shower... TV in my room did not work. Paint peeling off walls. Bed like a rock. "Curtains" were venetian blinds.
Staff were very helpful, particularly over parking.
Our room needed a lot more love and care, particularly over lighting, although the guy on the desk did his best, moving bedside lights from other rooms. I presume staff or owners have religious reasons for offering chicken sausages rather than pork sausages or bacon for breakfast. A warning would be good.
Location and staff
Breakfast and rooms need updating
Location to university, staff friendly and helpful.
Light on outside my window all night
convenient location; properly cooked breakfast.
Hotel staff said the taxi from the hotel to the airport would cost 15-16pounds; the taxi driver (Unicab?) charged us 22pounds!
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very generous, everything one could want. Loved the location, easy walk to the city centre. public transport, and the wonderful, exotic "Curry Mile".
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Lights in room were not working Shower cubicle was mouldy and smelled
Clean and comfortable with very friendly helpful staff, situated perfectly for Curry Mile
CookedBreakfast was halal and was very bland
Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Less then 5 mins walk to Manchester's Curry Mile
Very noisy in the evening and night from other guests in hotel and passers by outside the hotel.
The stuff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good. Room is warm, bed is good. Location middle of the curry mile, a step from it. Bus stop very near.
The room needs paint. Noices from other rooms are clearly heard.
