Wallpaper hanging off everywhere in my room. Plug sockets buzzing and coming out of the plaster. Damp mould everywhere. No wifi signal. Had to pay cash instead, even though I asked to book by card. Builders outside my door in the hall from 8am. Had to step over all their tools to get out of the room. The '78% discount' is marke up. I would NEVER pay £218 full price for this place for ONE night. The so called 78% off is clearly there to suck you in. And with the pictures online compared to what was really in store, I was sucked in. Avoid.
Beds were put up beds not even full length double. Floors and bathroom were dirty. Couldn't sit on the toilet as there wasn't enough leg room. Dirty broken shower. Bedding was also scratchy
Attitude of the staff, overly smug for no reason. Upon arrival tried to tell me credit cards are not a form of I'd. So I explained under UK law they are treated as such and you could with them alone get a mobile phone on contract. Where he proceeded to tell me I was telling lies.
Small room and even smaller bathroom/toilet.
Let me put it this way: I have been traveling for almost 50 years. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, b&bs, hostels, inns, you name it. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. Dirty. Terrible decay. Expensive for what you get. Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere !
The warmth and friendliness of the front desk person. He was always very helpful
No toilet attached to the room
Broken shower bracket
very small bath room. very cold room. no good bed. wifi only lobby.
Ticked all the boxes I needed ticking.
Just needed a room not to far from the tube and already knew the area.
A room where the loo could only be sat on sideways as there was no leg room, the shower head had no hook and just dangled, and tea and coffee making facilities consisted of plastic cups ad nothing else. The continental breakfast was mainly toast and the jug of orange juice contained squash. Not good really....
The location was good, but that was it.
The room was tired and overall needs a lot of work. The toilet and shower facility was to small with the door unable to be closed. Shower head was broken. Flooring was dirty and overall the decoration was awful
The fact that I had a bed
The quality of the room was not in line with what was advertised by the website. Small room, ridiculously small and stinking bath room. No TV signal.
The guy at the reception was extremely kind trying to help on the room issue
Building looks very old Small room
Room was nice and clean
Everything service was Gud
These ppl are cheats. On the net they show something else when you get the room it's something else. Dirty room. Tiny bathroom. Damp smell the guy admitted it was smelling. No heating. Breakfast not continental. I could've booked a hostel and would be much better. No where on the net says they are building works going. The middle aged guy at reception very rude..
Nothing at all. They are cheats.
very dirty, staff miserable, very run down
- the pillows and duvets were old and dirty, was scared to sleep there - we had a triple room which was very very small, there was no space at all. - the same in the toilet, it was almost impossible to squeeze in-between the sink and toilet, to do make up in front of the mirror, it was the only mirror in the room, however there was lots of mirrors in the hotel in the hallways. - the room smelled of damp
- location was fairly good, close to shopping centre, etc.. - very friendly staff
Pictures was clearly not a fair representation of the hotel ... not very clean very low standard
correctly in London
The pictures on website do not match reality. very noisy street at night bad internet connection
very good location
Old hotel with little old rooms. Room for me was <8m^2 and the shower+wc+sink is ~1m^2. It is really different from what's on the pics. Breakfast is only after 8am and very limited. Does not worth the price.
The receptionist is really cool. I loved him.
Two grumpy faces at reception. Shared toilet. Breakfast only from 8am.
It was extremely dangerous and I don't think that properties like this should be allowed on booking.com - Very very disappointing ......
This is not a good hotel. My room had scaffolding outside the open window on the 3rd floor.
The bed must of had 3 other people in it by the fluth and hairs in it the room was tiny and poor. We evern left with bed bug bits. I would not stop there again if it was the hotel left in London.
Nothing a dump
