Excellent customer service, courteous and friendly staff.
They don't do airport pick ups
Great location, 3 minutes from the subway. Very comfortable bed, clean and freshly, courteous and helpful service.
the staff is really friendly and helpful
From the pics I was expecting a completely renewed hotel, instead this is true for the bed and the small table in the room that are new and the reception. All the rest is what remains from the past and needs to be fixed up: windows, stairs, carpets, tables... I think that they are continuing improving the facility... maybe in the near future everything will be fixed up...
Bed was comfy enough and hotel close to tube station which was very ideal.
Staff not welcoming at all, told when we got there our ensuite bathroom was out of use and had to use one in the room next door which was filthy and hadn't been cleaned since last people had stayed in it. Also smelled a great deal. Told we also had the quietest room - however you could hear a tube go past every minute and you could hear drunk people at the pub down below. The hotel is basically a pub which was not described in the description when booking. And from the outside it looks tatty and filthy - not nice area at all. The breakfast was extremely dissapointing - told there was no orange juice left, and all that was offered was toast with jam, eggs or cornflakes. A proper English breakfast was not offered as expected. Also had zero sauces to go with this which was a big shock - therefore had to have dry toast. Thankfully only there for one night but this was more like a hostel then a hotel. Things could be easily improved by the staff - but they did not seem to care about anything or anyone.
The staff were very friendly and really helpful.
The property was in a terrible state of repair. Holes in the wall, no glass in the window! When I booked 2 months ago it boasted free parking, when I checked in this was not available! I risked double yellow lines outside the hotel and luckily didn't recieve a ticket. Parking for me was a main reason for booking this property.
Much noise in the room due to low insulation of windows. The room was still under construction.
Shower was blocked and has to be pump off, and there was even no way to make hot drinks in the room. Also, breakfast wasn't impressive.
Good trade-off price/location
The building is old Carpet in the rooms
Warm people working there. In this hotel I took the best shower in time here in London.
The hotel was excellent value for money. The room was small but clean and comfortable. I was on business at QMUL which is literally next door. I will stay there again.
Friendly staff Clean room
Sound from underground Noise from pub
The location was close to underground station.
The check in was ok but you had to pay before you stayed, which I've never before encountered and was a bit weird. Their were flies everywhere and they got into our room, the question is where did they come from??! Exposed wire in the bathroom! Strange smell in the bedroom. No tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was dire, worst I've had, scrambled egg was chopped up fried egg!! I was asked if I wanted baked beans hot or cold for beans on toast!!! Overall, probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I never write bad reviews. Not at all recommended!
The bed was comfortable and the shower worked ok.
This hotel is just on top of a night club. The windows were really thin, noise and cold got inside the room. The room was not finished, it had holes in the wall, and one pipe at the coming up from the floor at one side of the room. If you want to pay with debid card you will be charged with 5 extra pounds.
Location is 5 min walk from public transportation, both bus and metro. Zone 2. Nicely located in the East End, with access to city center by District and Circle lines. Ok neighborhood, with several 24h grocery shops.
Nigh pub in the same building. Breakfast is very disappointing. Only eggs, toast&jam&butter, coffee and orange juice. Building is very shabby with thin walls and windows. You can hear everything the neighboring room.
Room are new refurbished, small but clean
The room didn't have windows!! Wi fi wasn't working and the breakfast was just ridiculus
The shower was of a good standard, the bed was good, and internet was provided. There were plug sockets in easy access of the bed. However allot was substandard or unacceptable.
The manors of the staff were poor with the exception of the lovely lady serving breakfast. The cleanliness of the space was very poor - the menus for breakfast filthy. It had single glazed windows so you might as well be sleeping on the street and the street is very noisy with the pub underneath and the street. It is essential that the hotel gets double glazing in order for the standard of the hotel to be up to par. The whole place stank of the meat being cooked down stairs in the pub that this is above. The breakfast consisted of egg and toast and you could taste the cooking oil. There was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom and toilet, meaning you couldn't wash your hands after using the toilet. The hotel was far too expensive for the level of service.
The rooms were clean and the environment was calm.
It is a good price for central London, and was very convenient to get to the tube station and to get to the O2 arena as the journey from end to end took less than half an hour. Nice bed, clean sheets and an excellent hot shower. The shower really was top notch despite being in basically a building site.
This is not a finished hotel and in my opinion is not legal to stay in. There are random holes in the wall, wires hanging out, bare ceiling tiles with holes in those. There had been an attempted to put double glazing on the windows, however they clearly had only just been put in and had exposed wood which again had holes in and was stuffed with flannels and we were unable to open the window at all to get fresh air when we could stand the noise coming from the pub below. The little interaction I had with staff was very rude and they were very unhelpful. We had to pay on arrival which I wasn't expecting but I guess that's because it is not a properly set up hotel and it is easy to walk out and not been seen by their supposedly 24 hour reception desk. Good location, shame about the facilities and the fact it is half done. Would not stay again.
Staff always present; kind and friendly apporach; clean; position; hotel upgrading in this period
Positive and flexible attitude of the staff, who are mostly Pakistani.
Room area seemed still under construction. Wi-Fi was weak. Hotel is a l-o-n-g way from Heathrow and City Centre.
Not expensive with breakfast included Clean and tidy Good shower (room 204) Good access to the underground
Bed was a bit lumpy Road-facing room so it was quite noisy
great price, great location, nice breakfast, fantastic value for money!
more room noise than i have ever experienced, next to very busy road. but double glazed windows on their way...
