This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel, comfortable rooms and a free Wi-Fi zone.

Location and hospitality, breakfast and natural environment,
A bit too alternative.
Lovely, unique accommodation in a beautiful setting, great hostess made a wonderful breakfast. Great value, looking forward to visiting again and staying in the wagon.
Beautiful location. The site was lovely with an interesting assortment of yurts, eco lodges, self catering apartment, meditation room, chickens, vegetables, shrine, prayer flags, views etc. Built partly with re-claimed materials and skill and imagination. Nice to explore and we had a really fun, enjoyable stay.
If you like your creature comforts then don't stay here as it is a bit rough around the edges but if that doesn't bother you then you will love it as I did.
No lock on the door
Very warm welcome by the owner Daphne. She explained everything accurately. We had a very relaxing stay.
situation.what a lovely lady daphne is.
Daphne is a warm and welcoming host, nothing is too much trouble ... Quirky and delightfully spiritual atmosphere with a beautiful room to sleep in, surrounded by peaceful and glorious scenery. Daphne's breakfasts are delicious, fruit salad, home made breads and yoghurt freshly laid eggs, jams marmalades and coffee for breakfast. We love staying there this weekend so much so that we have altered our original honeymoon destination this September and have booked a three night stay in the Yellow bedroom.. Can't wait..
Nothing bad at all - even the steep stairs presented no problem for us as we were careful going up and down them - or sharing the lovely and unusual bathroom which was always spotlessly clean.
A one off experiance, Daphne was super lovely!
Friendly owner. Beautiful views.
It all felt a bit of a shambles.
Amazing place and Daphne was a lovely host, really relaxing. if you are pretty straight you might not be so keen as it's really alternative. Lots of Buddhist iconography prayer flags etc, kind of like the most chilled out festival ever.
everything........ the place should be shut down it is a health and safety issue I don't believe any reports are true just fabricated by the owner
Loved staying in a lovingly restored 17th century Inn and meeting Daphne who clearly loves opening her home up to visiters
Great place beautiful location highly recomended
The property, the area, the proprieteress.
Parking is difficult although it's the only downside and didn't spoil it for us at all.
THia was a lovely place to stay very relaxing calm and quirky Daphne was a pure delight breakfast was delicious with her homemade yogurt and free range egg.
no locks on the room doors
Certainly not your usual B&B. This cottage lost in the hills is a quirky place, a very quiet location, ideal for hiking. Zen retreat.
The place could do with some serious decluttering. There are a lot of old items displayed everywhere, which add to the charm, but it is a bit too much now.
Location very beautiful. Bed very comfortable Unusual accommodation. Stairs very steep
Stairs very steep.
Relaxed. Lovely welcome by Daphne. Excellent breakfast. Gorgeous period rooms in unchanged old pub. No en-suite but lovely bathroom shared by the room our daughter used. Best B&B stay we have ever had! 10/10
Nothing it was perfect. Steep stairs to bedrooms could be a problem if you have a disability.
We liked the peace and tranquillity and also the uniqueness of the place.
