New Inn by Good Night Inns  

The staff were more than friendly, courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate requests. The on-site restaurant had an extremely good breakfast, and great value for the money. The rooms (en-suite) were clean, tidy and for the most part comfortable.

The bathroom fan was very noisy, and quite dirty (room 30). Just cleaning it might lessen the noise. This seems to be an international problem, not just the New Inn, Newport

We liked the location very easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go friendly staff not too noisy at night and the food was very good.

there is not anything we did not like. Some of the guests were using the fire exit doors to go outside for a smoke & not closing it when they finished perhaps you could fit alarms on the doors

Comfortable room.

The bar and restaurant.The food was poor quality and took a long time to be served. The car park had only 3 disabled bays for blue badge holders which were used by any Tom Dick or Harry.No supervison of these were made any staff.

Great neat little rooms with everything you'd need including iron and board already in room. Pub next door nice. Lady on reception was very friendly.

Staff very helpful and friendly

Clean, stylish, staff slightly bewildered but friendly and willing to help. The electric sockets in my room were not working and took the night manager a while to locate the fuse box but he really tried and succeeded. My little dog was very welcome with prior arrangement.

Had to pay for breakfast which was expensive and not all that value for money, could have (and in the end did) got a better one in a cafe down the road.

The staff were superb. Family room was great.

Food was not great and breakfast was not hot.

Excellent Hotel and Restaurant staff friendly ideal for an overnight stay. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

Reasonable room and friendly staff with good attached restaurant

Being woke up at 5am by truckers who use the car park revving their engines, talking loudly and continual noise with no concern for other people who would like to sleep in past their wake up call. Would never stay at this place again

The Staff were excellent and very helpful. I had contact with 3 different people on the front desk and all three were better than one would expect. The room was very peaceful with no noise from the other quests or traffic.

Great price, great location ideal for Celtic Manor, great adjoined pub for food and drinks. excellent condition of rooms, clean, friendly staff.

Drinks in the pub were a little expensive.

Location, close to my friends' home. Good value food and accommodation.

TV noise from neighbouring room. Other guests talking loudly in the corridor late at night and/or early in the morning.

the only thing I can say is I would prefer a bath

location to our golf weekend was excellent, will definitely use and recommend again.

Door furniture lose on door reported it staff said it would be fixed it wasen't. Fire alarm went off at 0715am while my wife and where making our way out nobody else seemed to bother also the fire alarm was silenced during evacuation. as a ex fire fighter i think the fire policy needs looked at.As value for money i think the breakfast should be included in the price. Probably will not return.

Very clean, and the staff as ever were kind and welcoming.

Just a little concerned that the outer door is not locked to outsiders until staff have left the bar - sometimes this is in the early hours of the morning. As guests are given keys to their room and the outside door, then perhaps the outside door could be locked at 11pm when the reception staff leave, this would give peace of mind to the more vulnerable guests.
