Ideally located in Blackpool’s peaceful North Shore area, close to the beach, this small, family-run bed and breakfast provides 11 comfortable guestrooms within a homey, welcoming atmosphere. The perfect choice for a quiet stay, or just a place to use as a base whilst you take in some of the delights of Blackpool, the New Kent B&B offers a range of facilities, including wide selections of beverages in the bar and free wireless internet throughout. Although it is only small, the New Kent is slowly gaining a reputation for the quality of its service and the intimacy of its atmosphere. The owners provide many cordial amenities and the breakfast is certainly something to relish. Joanne was the most warm welcoming hostess and so chatty and friendly. She made our short stay a pleasure and greatly appreciated her local knowledge and approachable nature. Breakfast was second to none-amazing. Lovely pillows! Room lovely and warm despite freezing temperatures outside. Well situated-away from rowdy nightlife.Tram stop just round the corner and easy to use.

Very friendly place to stay. Landlady was very nice and most helpful.Room was clean and comfortable and not to far from centre of Blackpool a few stops on the tram which you get from the top of the road. Away from the night life so nice and quite of a night if like us you like to sleep at night. But not too far should you wish to party. A good breakfast in the morning with everything cooked fresh and enough to keep you going all day.

Friendly and efficient service. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent position for trams to go either way "for a ride". Too many steps to reach our top floor rooms. Hot water very slow in the sink.

It is in a great location, away from the noisy part of Blackpool but not too far to walk to the center. The full in english breakfast was very good. Made very welcome by the friendly staff (Joan).

Food We greeted at the door by a lady called joanne before we got over the doorstep we were asked to pay we had not seen the room but she demanded payment the welcome was very poor because of this we were treated very poorly due to the confrontation

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Very affordable prices. Board games, cards and pacman available in the bar. The B&B was very friendly and homely, however it did feel a little bit like we were staying in someone else's house at times. For example when we went to the bar there was no one available and we could see and hear a staff member in the back with his children. There was a bell to press for attention, but we felt very uncomfortable interrupting them and ended up going somewhere else for a drink.

the new kent is brilliant we got a very friendly welcome and the room was very nice and clean the breakfast was amazing, its very clean and the bar area is very nice to, plus the rates are brilliant for what you get also the beer was lovely to, me and my partner amy liked it so much were going back for new years eve! nothing to complain about! 10/10

had a nice 2 day chill out with my wife and really enjoyed it.the staff were very helpfull and nothing seemed to much trouble for them.thanks a lot and we will being going back again soon we hope.

Friendly staff , good location just what u expect for the exact price. Breakfast was lovely!!! We were struggling with car park space. It s on street parking and it was packed everywhere.
