On the seafront location fantastic Staff friendly and helpful
Good location, friendly staff, very clean And confortable room
The noise from the nightclub and bar area was very intrusive. There didn't seem to be any sound proofing at all. Our room was a sea view, above the bar and it felt like we were in the bar at night! The room itself, whilst being spacious, had very tired looking decor and could definately do with an upgrade.
I have stayed here before and whilst I had a room with nice balcony and quite exceptional view,I was kept awake most of the night by traffic noise, however, this time I had a room on the third floor, which was very much quieter and I slept very well as a pleasing consequence, nice toiletries supplied.excellent location and view.
Very small lift..breakfast cheap but unpleasant coffee in flasks....I would happily pay a little more for "refill" option freshly served or from machine!
Love this hotel can't fault it. I would suggest if you don't want the noise of the bar downstairs ask for at least 2nd floor.
Very friendly..clean.a perfect weekend.
Nothing to dislike..would recommend to family & friend..
Perfectly reasonable hotel: good, friendly staff, more than adequate room
Not a "luxurious" hotel, but then again, the price is very reasonable for what you get.
Location and location!
That I had to pay for parking facilities.
Brighton as a whole.
Nothing springs to mind
The hotel provides a very good view of the Ferris wheel (just being right in front of it) and the pier. The room is spacious, clean, and well decorated. That's excellent with the amount I paid for a night. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
The life is too far small for 2 people with the luggage. The balcony cannot be used even it is right there =(
the reception staff were very helpful and friendly so was the chamber maid Location and bar excellent
Our room was a little dated and the shower was poor but apart from that our stay we very enjoyable and comfortable would come again
Especially the comfort was a disaster simple glass and very tin walls you could hear everything and the matras of the bed should have been replaced years ago.
I waited outside the main entrance for 15 mins in the cold after a night out because the key they give you doesn't open the front door which was very inconvenient.
Are stay at the new maderia was very pleasant....carpets could do with a change in the room
the position on the sea front was great the staff great
my room on the first floor was absolutely chronic, the view from my window was a set of prison bars looking directly to another building, the room was dam cold,[and I work on building sites] and the music from the night club, WILL keep you awake, it was £5 for a pint , I would never stay there again
Great hotel very friendley
Flexibility of hotel staff. I arrived early and they allowed early check in at no cost since no one stayed at the room the night before.
It was cold. The room had one radiator but there wasn't one in the bathroom. On my check out day, the boiler broke and there was no hot water. The staff were accommodating however and didn't force check out hot water was back and I was able to take a shower.
Location and prime sea view.
Noise from guests through walls. Traffic noise. Need better glazing
Very welcoming.Asked for a room overlooking sea if possible and was given one, the room was clean and comfortable and had tea and coffee facilities.
The lighting was very very dim and we couldnt connect to the wifi as we couldnt get a signal on either laptop. The plug for the hairdryer could be nearer a mirror or have a longer cable!
Lovely bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value breakfast and the hot chocolate is second to none.
Lack of parking and the few spaces there were were charged for. Upstairs communal areas in need of updating
hotel disco very loud until 3am
The location was good
An utter dump that had seen better days. The room was tiny with a depressing view. The whole place had seen better days and didn't look like it had been decorated or furnished since the early 70's. Horrible dirty wall paper and depressing furniture. The room and the hotel left me feeling depressed. Horrible place.
Awesome view of sea, wheel and pier. Spacious room, good breakkfast.
Very noisy group of men in next room on the saturday night. Dont let groups in!
