Booked to stay here and didn't even want to enter the place, it looks nothing like the pictures, it's shabby, run down and falling apart. Definitely not even worth half of the amount I paid. Worse than poor
lovely receptionist, room good for the price we paid and it was clean.
Toilet seat was broken, tv didn't work but we weren't there to watch tv.
Staff and room excellent
En-suite needed more lighting and full length mirror needed in bedroom
the end of my visit.
comfortable rooms staff fantastic nothing too much trouble restaurant lovely good value for money would definately stay at new ocean again!!
need slip mats for when you get out off the shower
Plenty of parking central location clean & tidy what more would you need in Blackpool.
Walls a bit thin & floorboard quite creaky most doors slam so you may struggle if you like plenty of sleep.
Clean, friendly hotel.
Parking was a nightmare, blocking each others cars in and can't get out easy.
Price was good Sea View
Lack of mirror Windows rattled with the wind powered milk
Staff were excellent very pleasent
badly needing upgrade
Very small room, poor bathroom facilities, also the room was very hot also very poor parking arrangements
Good location. Friendly helpful young lady on reception even with her cold bless. Easy check in.
Could have done with touch up here and there but most of Blackpool could. Enjoyed though.
Blackpool great place to go lots happening
we stayed at this hotel for 1 night the room was not clean but the bedding was, the headboard was a sheet of wood with skirting board around it lol the lock on bathroom door did exist the view of the rear of the hotel was diabolical lots of rubbish on floor etc the one curtain in our room was hanging off the rail, the wooden floor was laid on top of the carpet so when you walked on it you bounced but the bed was ok and we had a good nights sleep, but no milk in room but had tea and coffee etc so at 0830 we went down stairs for breakfast and a coffee but was refused b/fast as we did not book before hand so we asked for coffee and again refused as we did not book so we had a short walk to weatherspoons and had a very nice b/fast will go to Blackpool again SORRY another hotel as there is so many this one past sell buy date!!
The shower was good The lobby is new Good location
The price of £30 pound a night is insane! The room was far too small and dirty. Bed had bugs in. The lift was extremely old, probably scarier than the rides at the pleasure beach. The corridors are tiny. Walls are paper thin. In my stay I had what sounded like a rave going on in the room next door, asked to be moved but refused so had to have a sleepless night. I will never stay in a non commercial hotel ever again thanks to this hotel.
Location perfect for us a we just traveled down for the day at the pleasure beach, staff friendly and helpful
Hotel was far to hot and couldn't turn heater down in room, room was small but clean apart from under the bed. Mattress was too soft for me but my partner slept like a log
I liked the fact that hotel was situated not far from pleasure beach and not too far from the central pier so it was easy to get to everything and there was a tram stop just outside the door.
Although i had two good night sleeps on the comfy beds the rooms were very basic. It looked like the shower hadnt been cleaned and the floor hadnt been swept. The reception was very nice with bright lights and nice white floors however the rooms need to be focused on a little bit more then the reception.
Excellent location on seafront.
not as described. Very very dated. No carpets in room as advertised . The room faced a brick wall . Walls paper thin and no staff when needed . Worst hotel I've stayed in .
Lovely staff, Great value for money, lovely sea view room ,clean basic accomodation ,good car parking fab shower and large bathroom will be booking again
Could do with more storage and hanging space no hair dryer as advertised small details in room need tidying up otherwise great. have stayed in far worse places in blackpool
It's a very cheap hotel, right on the promenade. We stayed with a group of friends and we all had a great time. Few problems with the rooms, i.e. heating broken and couldn't open windows etc. But overall it was fine.
The bar ran out of drinks when we were there. One member of staff was quite rude and the parking is really bad. You need to park behind other people so have to wait for them to get back to move the car before we could leave.
Mouldy bathroom and windows. Saggy bed. Scalding showere as adjustment broken. Half the light bulbs not working. Sticky floor. Horrible place to stay.
Good location. Car Park at £5 per day Bedding was clean
The curtains were smelling of damp and falling off the rail. The bedroom door was difficult to open without force. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towel or clothes. Not able to close bathroom door.
Excellent location! Reception modern with friendly staff. Rooms clean & the bed were comfy.
Rooms not to the same standard as the reception and could be doing with some TLC. Work was being carried out during our stay so there was some mess about. This was the first hotel I have been to that charged parking and there was not a lot of choice on the Chinese & Indian buffet.
Only problem was building work going on, which meant both rooms booked had to be changed. Staff very helpful with this, but was like a building site inside
Location was good was s uprising I had to pay to park as it didn't day on Web site and when I called to ask about parkin but only a fiver so not important
Uncleanliness charged for parking unfinished rooms: painting, tiling, fittings done to a poor standard
Lovely view, room was really clean, lift to all floors, was being refurbished, I know there are a few negatives but the postives out do the negatives.
Waiting around to hand our key in or get our key back, it said online booking you could check in at 2 and check out at 11, no check in was 3 and checkout was 10. Wanted a drink in the bar but there was no one around to serve. Hall ways are very narrow.
