Everything was good - we will return
Very friendly staff, nicely decorated and clean accommodation. The fresh cooked breakfast set us up for the day. Loved the attention to finishing touches that just made the difference - small teapot, quality door furniture etc. We would definitely recommend on and hoping to return soon.
There was a heavy noise just once in a while from a near railway track - but not off putting.
Friendly welcome, lovely staff. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Good location, smashing walk into Tenby town down the beach. Good breakfast. Plenty of free parking including a little hard standing spot perfect for our 2 motorcycles. Hot shower with brilliant water pressure that could just about strip your skin off! Would definitely recommend, a lovely place to sta.
Bedroom right next to the road, traffic noise was a bit of a pain.
Perfect hosts. Good value. Lovely clean and comfy room. Close to the centre of Penally. Just 15 mins walk into Tenby along a very safe pathway.
Close proximity to the fast moving traffic on the main road. Quite close to the railway line, although this didn't disturb us at all.
the hosts/staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and the food was delicious!
could have done with a guide on how to operate the tv, we had a problem with it but Andy came immediately and sorted it out for us.
Beautiful place to stay, no problems with it would completely recommend it and the area aswell. Worth the money amazing staff very kind and friendly everyone makes you feel at home. I can't fault the place.
Every thing from the accommodation the staff to the food we had a really nice four day break
being so close to the road it was a bit noise
the room was very clean staff helpful we only drink decaff and this was given to us when told. provided extra milk in room as I cannot drink hot drinks we ate there four nights and food was good would stay again.
A very pleasant experience
Very good standard for the rooms and restaurant and had a very enjoyable stay.
There is noticeable road noise for those rooms that face onto a very busy road. Even so, still a good option.
The owners were friendly and as accommodating as possible. The breakfast was nice. It's only a short walk to a lovely beach and a 20 minute walk along that to Tenby.
The rooms at the front (which we had for one night) was too noisy to sleep as cars were whizzing past throughout the night and double glazing is insufficient...nevermind if you want the windows open in the hot summer! We were moved to the back which is a few metres from a railtrack! But there was only a couple of trains so they didn't disturb you too much at night.
Relaxed, family run business. Very helpful and friendly. Pleasant 20min walk to town via the beach. Hotel also had a taxi business. Nice relaxed 3 day break. Food was lovely too.
It rained but nothing can be done about that.
The Friendly staff. The food was above average the breakfast and the evening meals on offer were great. It was only a mile or so from Tenby and we had parking
The main road didn't enable us to enjoy a walk in the evening
Loved the room and the people who were working there. Were a great help to us and location was great.
Could have done with a small leaflet or booklet with small maps about the beach and local shops and also improve the wifi connection. More on the menu of theb food would be good to and deserts.
I liked the location. As it was family run I felt at home. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic 3 day stay. Breakfast was excellent and enough to fill you up for the day. Room was great and had everything we needed. Very welcoming.
The traffic could be heard with the window open but this maybe because I am not used to living near a road
Rooms are clean and have all you require. Great if you want a beach within easy walking distance.
Sandwiched between railway and what felt sometimes like a motorway. Distance was to far from the town center, cabs where expensive. Breakfast was definitely budget, only place I have stayed where you are not offered a second coffee at breakfast. Lacking atmosphere.
Easy access in comparison to the village, and a nice roomy accomodation.
Clean and well presented accommodation. A very friendly family run business with a welcome personal touch. A walk along the beach will take you to Tenby with it's wonderful history and architecture.Could only stay for a couple of days this time but would stay here again.
I had to go back to work.
Most enjoyable and relaxing environment especially the warm welcome given on our arrival at the Overlander. Thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and surroundings from which we will most certainly revist shortly
Could not find any faults
Establishment was scrupulously clean; staff charming and very efficient and attentive. had an extremely good dinner there one evening.
Always friendly welcome ,rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is top class! (The Kippers)
The room and bathroom were very clean and the restaurant & accommodation were all on the ground floor
The duvet felt quite heavy compared to our own at home and the fan in the bathroom, which came on if the bathroom light was switched on after dark, was extremely noisy and stayed on for a very long time keeping us awake. The breakfast was tasty and extremely well cooked however it was a small breakfast ie. only ONE slice of bacon, HALF a tomato and no mushrooms.
The location is ideal the staff are wonderful and easy to get on with.the food is good ,so is the service provided at the overlander .Thank you all.
We had a wonderful stay at the new overlander. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast menu. This was our second visit and we are definitely planning our third.
proprietor very friendly and helpful our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast very good - likewise dinner
proprieter/chef did appear scruffy and finger nails were dirty. It was a pity that the view from our window onto a pathway at the rear of the property included piles of dog poo!! that should have been cleared.
