An all round nice hotel. A little fraid around some of the edges granted. However it's location, parking, price and facilities far outweigh that. I hope to be back soon.
Wifi seemed inoperable. However 4g was available on Three.
Heated indoor pool with Jacuzzi. Entertainment looked good All round Comfortable stay
Had to wait occasionally for staff, to attend to Reception and bar. But very minor.
Room was tidy and spacious
WiFi only available downstairs. Shower was cold until late at night. Draught coming from closed window made room cold.
Excellent value for money even if it was at a reduced rate would be using again.
Breakfast could be earlier 8am start not ideal for early travelers although a packed lunch was offered.
Booked as an overnight for a local xmas party. Excellent value for money for a reasonable room.
price, facilities, location,
Nothing. For what I paid I could not complain.
A good value hotel. Booked last minute and got a good deal.
front, hall, bar, dining room, staircase and lift service good appearance and entertainment good. Not far from buses and town.
small room likewise with ensuite. Poor heating with hot taps and shower. Would be better with power shower and room seemed old fashioned.
Friendly staff, very good in house facilities, everything within walking distance. Breakfast could have been better, head waiter speeding around like a headless chicken, would prefer if it was a buffet but overall good, clean, enjoyable stay. Would recommend to others.
The breakfast. Good service in dining room. Good Location.
The bathroom decor was a bit tired.
Though small this room had everything we could need including an ironing board. The beds were very comfortable and clean. There was constant hot water for a shower. We didnt eat dinner here but the breakfasts where very satisfactory
This had to be the smallest room I have ever slept in and the bathroom was miniscule. Because this room is at the front of the hotel we were disturbed at 5am by drunken revellers returning to the hotel and also by passers by shouting at each other.
The staff were friendly, the front of house, lounge and cocktail bar gave a good impression.
The bedroom furniture was tired and in need of replacement. The restaurant was not as clean as we would have expected, there was a stain on the table cloth on the Tuesday and the same cloth was still on the table on the Friday. The floor did not appear to have been vacuumed as debris from an 80's weekend was still on the floor when we left the following weekend.
Disappointing hotel but only there one night.
Breakfast arrangements. Cramped into a line.baked beans slopped too top of egg.
The room was much better than we expected taking into account the other reviews. It was large, modern and clean. The facilities were great, jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pool etc.
Cannot comment on the food as we didn't eat there.
The breakfasts were very good along with the pool etc. The cinema was excellent.
The staff were all overworked but we're good. The bed was a bit uncomfortable though.
We found it to be an absolute disgrace not being adressed by staff unless they were asked a direct question. Not a 'good morning', not a 'Hello'. Not even recieving a smile when crossing staff in the premises... A part from this it's just not worth the money. Ok they have an indoor pool and Jacuzzi which brought us to coming but frankly, seeing the filth in each corner of the hotel room I wonder how often this is taken care of and cleaned... We found several items in drawers and bathroom from previous visitors to I guess inspection of the room after service is quite poor. And whatever flags they have on the door it's clearly not gayfriendly!!
We liked the central convenient location. The room we ended up with was ok, clean and comfortable. Clean towels each day. Breakfast was good. For two star accommodation the price was reasonable. Most staff were pleasant and helpful.
Cramped shower. Long wait for any hot water to get through. Paintwork getting tired and in need of refurbishment. Kettle was chipped and stained. Shower tray showed signs of rust and mould. Reception vacant for long period at check out time. Staff spread too thinly "upstairs"
Staff were very good, eddy was professional, efficient and his character shone through. Entertainment delightful. Food excellent.
Very helpful staff and high quality fixtures and fittings- clean and comfortable room. The meals are of a very good standard. Nice to have plenty of parking and the hotel was close to the beaches and central Bournemouth.
The plumbing is obviously lower down the 'refurbishment' list but no mayor problems. The opening times of the restaurant where very limited. The cost of the stay was more expensive than the booking through the website.
The Hotel was clean and all the staff was helpful. The location is good and only about ten minutes walk to centre and beaches.
Some area's a little tired, and en suite toilet in the room we had was very small.
Tiny bathroom no room to put anything. Had to leave after 1 night but was charged for 3 nights booked
Food breakfast staff good bar entertainment
Pillows on the bed due some new ones
Being able to get a refund on our room.
We arrived and there was no reservation that came though but they managed to get us into a room. We were expecting to have a quiet weekend and were not told that the hotel was going to be full with people with special needs, I have nothing against these people but it was not pleasant when they were shouting and generally being loud in what I thought was going to be a quiet hotel. To make it worse when my partner went to the bathroom there was remains of faeces down the toilet which suggests the bathroom hasn't been cleaned at all! Overall very disappointed :(
