Breakfast was not served, and we were not aware of this before we boked, if we had known we would not have stayed there. We stayed at the Newbury last year and breakfast was available. |

The breakfast was the best part, which is provided at the Shamrock across the road. The room itself was clean. The lady that greeted us didn't speak very good english and so communication was a bit of an issue. There was no shower and the door to the bathroom was glass so no privacy whilst on the loo! The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, so not a great nights sleep. |

The Newbury is in a great location, has friendly staff and is clean & comfy. Breakfast isn't available from the hotel but you can get a voucher for a pub down the road which is lovely. Parking available. We didn't have a shower in our room, just a bath. |

The staff were very welcoming and the presentation of the accomodation was excellent. Very secure, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not on site but there was plenty of amenities locally. The shower was not very powerful on the top floor. |

There wasnt anything I liked about staying at the Newbury! The room was small, hot due to poor ventilation & a small fan which did nothing, the shower barely worked due to the shower head being broken |

Ideal location, ample parking at the rear but is handy for bus for going into Poole etc. Room was adequate for our needs. No meals are served at the hotel but we bought vouchers at £3.50 for a cooked breakfast exchanged just a stroll away - was excellent. Plenty of bars and places to eat just a walk away. Would definitely consider staying there again. Although beds were comfy, they were a bit squeaky! |

Ermmmmmmm...... Yeah! Was clean. Unfortunately, I found the hotel to be in dire need of refurbishment. Our 3 bedroom room had a seethrough bathroom door. Not only could we see each other "relieve" ourselves but also we got a fantastic view when we bathed....I Guess its a good job that we did take baths... Considering the view and all...but it would of been nice to have a shower as an option.....but of course, this was lacking too. There was however a very comprehensive note on the bathroom walls about all the "dont do's". I read it out to my friends (through the see through door) it took atleast 5 minuets. Apart from this, the decor was drab although, credit where its due, the land lady has obviously tried but in all honesty I felt like I was staying at nan's hse |

The Newbury is in a central position, 2 minutes from prom and 5 minutes from town. The street was quite busy and rather noisy in the mornings. |

It was close to the town centre and the beach. The room was basic but clean and provided what we were looking for, something reasonably priced for a short break. The room was very small, and the hotel was noisy during the night with other guests coming and going. |

The location was very good - only a few mins walk from the beach. It was very clean and tidy. Charge for paying on debit card not confirmed prior to payment - I could have just gone to an ATM rather then getting stung for £7 for paying on card. The bathroom was very small and water very hot from sink which meant it was difficult to shave. Saying that though it was OK for couple nights stay. |

Breakfast at the Shamrock Mattress was old metal springs, uncomfortable. Towels smelled of cigarette smoke. Shower head would not hang on bracket. Price was different to web confirmation. |

Staff was friendly and helpful as well as the room was clean and tidy. Also there was pretty quiet at night which was very comfortable for us. The hotel is quite close to the beach as well. The shower was horrible (there was no pressure at all). The room is quite small but we don't know whether it is reasonable for room rate because we don't have much experience of staying hotel in England. |
