Basin tap hard to turn off Shower head no good water just poured out
Owner very pleasant and accomadating
rest of staff not english and had a problem understanding us when we ask ed for assistance
This was a terrible experience, arriving late because of traffic the women responsible for the hotel threatened to do not open the gate because "we were tooking time from her relaxing time and her bath" we had to rush to the hotel and when we arrived she was terribly rude and despicable. She charge me extra fees for paying by card and makes us feel very uncomfortable. The room was also terrible no heater extremely small we barely had enough place to move around the beds. The heater was turned off and we had no way to turn it on we had to sleep with our jumper! When I ask for the wifi password she literally screamed! What sens of service!! Let's move to the bathroom so small that we almost had to be in the shower to be able to open the door and returned to the room! And the flush wasn't working. In a word it was a terrible experience I don't even understand how this kind of hotel can be found on booking.com! My advice never ever go to that hotel !!!
Room was clean & quiet small but adequate. Shower and toilet ensuite.
No internal breakfast but given a voucher for £3.50. Listed place on voucher was closed. Had to go back and ask. Place next door to closed venue was actual breakfast house. Good breakfast. Big uphill walk when returning from the BIC for a conference. Room on third floor up the stairs. Wasn't offered a WiFi info card.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and well presented.
young man on staff who appeared to be on his own to do everything
no breakfast allthough advertised, towels in room not very good, cleaning left a lot to be desired, room on top floor at front of house had to keep windows shut at night to get some peace most of the night, beds hard not very comfortable could do with some mattress toppers.residents lounge looked more like a second hand shop, television did not have freeview or the remote control was the wrong one for set did not work properly
Near good restaurants and Bars
Narrow streets, which were blocked by tour buses in the mornings
Very good standard of cleanliness; bed comfortable; location near seafront convenient - so all the basics very satisfactory. WiFi - though this was a little touchy.
Breakfast arrangement: you are sold a voucher for a discounted breakfast at a nearby pub. I recommend that you avoid this - basic, greasy and unpleasant. Room a little cramped, but ok for a few nights. The blizzard of "don'ts" in the guest file! I do appreciate that some guests can be badly housetrained, but it comes across as a bit unwelcoming.
Had many good housekeeping rules to make you feel safe as a family. Welcome was friendly and attentive to children. Most noted was cleanliness and location. Perfect for our need. N.b. breakfast not on site-we enjoyed ours on the beach front.
No breakfast on site
Location near the beach and walking distance to town centre and most restaurants and pubs.
Lady was so unfriendly and appeared irritated all the time and unprofessional; kept on talking on something and someone not present during the conversation a lot of noise on the street at night poor facilities- tissues, ventilation with only the smallest fan and small window
Bournemouth it self.
No Wi-fi although clearly stated. No hospitality. No b+b - you have to pay for a meal ticket for the local run down Irish Bar. 7 pages of house rules all in caps lock - although did make entertaining reading. Don't want to waste anymore time - so many other places you can stay in beautiful Bournemouth.
We were allowed to enjoy our stay without any disturbing.
The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. Although it was okay.
Location, frendlyness of staff, cleanliness of hotel, value, vue of the balloon, everything.
Really can't think of eneything negative had a great time.
Hostess was lovely
Hot chocolate and biscuits not replaced
We were a party of four gay friends visiting for Bourne Free Pride weekend. Vicky the owner was very friendly and helpful and froze our cool bag ice blocks etc. The Rooms were nicely decorated and clean etc. I would recommend it for straight couples who do everything together but not a group like ourselves.
A constructive criticism would be for keys to be available for each person rather than one per room the same as most places I have stayed even if extra keys are charged for. We found it very inconvenient having to phone one another to arrange entry/exit and on at least one occasion one of our party in a non en-suite room went to the toilet and the room door locked itself with his phone inside late evening when no one was on reception and he was not fully dressed to come and find the rest of us!
the staff were un helpful, they did not re fill the coffee and tea we had to ask,the lady she said she could not help as she had no acsess to the milk and tea only the chamber maid had. you got a voucner for breakfast and had to go to another place we went there and it was closed when we told the man at reception he said that it was some where else and the lady should have told us, but no sorry for waisting our time, hwen we were leaving at 9-30 we rang the bell and no one came for ten minutes, when the lady came she had been washing her hair and had a towle wraped around her head, a note on the reception says that you should only ring the bell between 8 and 10 so why did she have to wash her hair when we had to leave by 10 c'lock
A comfortable, cute, suitable hotel with a brilliant location. Free wifi provided as well as free freeview and discount on breakfast down the road.
Rude landlady, making unnecessary comments. Shower broken so it only comes up to shoulder height, and not very powerful. Room quite small
A very pleasant stay. The owner was very helpful and gave us lots of advice on where to eat and drink. A comfortable room with all the basics.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and obviously well looked after. Excellent value for money by booking online. Welcoming and friendly host. Perfect location; walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and only 5mins walk to the beach! We prefer to eat breakfast out so was great to be able to book room only.
Purely down to personal preference, but I would have liked some bottled water on the tea/coffee tray and white towels rather than coloured ones.
Very friendly staff Ideal Location Very clean Relaxed atmosphere and decor
Wifi signal can be poor
Excellent location for BIC. Very friendly, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
very plesant lady on reception.
room on the small size and on suite very small no room to dry yourself in it and no place to put your toiletries, also very noise'y out side well past midnight so unable to sleep with windows open although the room was very warm,a lot of the neighbouring hotels looked like dhs hostels
The size of the rooms, our twin was very tight, and the so called double that my other friends had contained a 3/4 size bed not a full double.
The owner of the place was a great help with everything, starting at recommending a place for a night out to lending us a hairdryer. Very friendly and funny staff. Great value for money! Location is perfect, only 2 min walk from the beach, 10 min walk to the town centre. Perfect place for a long weekend with friends.
