Staff were good, city location was very good. Unfortunately the hotel is located right next to night club, so staying on a Saturday night is not a good idea if you want peace and quiet. Also using a small fan heater set off the fire alarm. If the alarms are that sensitive why supply fan heaters in rooms? |

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal menu was excellent. The hotel is in an ideal location for shopping and transport. The only thing I would have liked was a bit more drawer space, but this is not a complaint as a woman can never have enough drawer space even although she is only staying for a few days!!! |

The receptionist was unfriendly, wanted to charge more and refused to give me a room on the floor I wanted to be. She immediately said it was full. She didn't even try to check the availability. I found out that there were vacant rooms next morning. The extra money I paid was refunded to me by a nice and polite mature woman, Carol (not sure about the name). |

The initial welcome on the front desk from Carol and George. They are a credit to your organisation. Also Karen and Alan on checkout were excellent as they organised transferes to the airport for us, but also during our stay. Nothing was a problem for them. |

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, although the AC could've been more simple... There was an absolutely beautiful purple abstract painting on the wall, instead of the usual unimaginative scenery pic. Just a small detail, but adds to the atmosphere. WiFi not included in the price of the room, and £5/h is a lot for a service that is complimentary in many hotels and guesthouses these days. Also, the room (or the door) was not too soundproof... |

The central location suited our needs. The room comforts were as good as usual. My wife and I have been stayed in Premier Innsup and down the country on many occasions. However,our latest stayhas damaged our relationship with Premier Inns and ourselves. We are both in ou mid fifty's and went to bed at 10pm ,as we had an early roise in the morning to attend an event that we have supported in Newcastle for the last 14years. Around 3am we had major disturbances outside our room in the corridor and adjacent rooms. It became so bad that my wife entered the corridor to confront the people causing the disturbance. After this both of became very anxious about this situation,and had very little sleep for the remainder of the evening. Due to lack of sleep,we didnt enjoy our annual event the next day. |

Central to City Centre.Walking distance to most places that we wished to visit in Newcastle. People being allowed to smoke outside the entrance of the hotel. A guest should not have to walk through a tunnel of cigarette smoke to enter the hotel. |
