The staff, the food, the service and the value.
Good location for the shops
The bar could be open at better times and the car parking could be cheaper for 24hrs
The price.The staff.
Heating not up to cold weather.
Had to park van short distance away. Wifi should be free. Proximity to nights clubs could be a disadvantage or an advantage depending on your circumstances.
The staff , who were all local , were very friendly , helpful, polite and had an excellent local knowledge - very heartening to experience! Our stay was So much better than other "chain hotels" The standard and quality of breakfast exceeded my expectations An extremely comfy bed too
Absolutely nothing ! My first experience of premier inn , so much better than I imagined
I stayed here with my daughter whilst she attended an interview for uni. The hotel is in an excellent spot for shopping and universities and the staff are so friendly they made me feel so relaxed. I needed a taxi to get us to the interview for 8.30 am and the staff organised this for us promptly. We will definitely be staying here again
Good car park with direct access to reception. Friendly welcome & very helpful staff across all hotel functions. Good bar & restaurant on site.
Showing signs of its age. One lift out of order. Our room automatic heating was not working (but staff rectified the situation).
The cleanliness of the room The Breakfast
very awkward to navigate to by car. the room was very cold. The shower was very poor
I was surprised how good the room was as it is listed as a three star. spotless and clean. room was totally quiet, on the fourth floor overlooking the back of offices. not a sound. great breakfast.
great for a shower but no good for a relaxing bath unless you are under four feet tall. i would still stay here again any time i was in newcastle
Breakfast Spacious, comfy room
Parking charges One-way streets and bus lanes (not your fault!)
The staff could not have been better, my son and I arrived late at night due to delayed trains and the check in staff was very helpful. The next morning we took breakfast in the hotel and the staff were again brilliant.
The beds weren't particularly comfy and the room heating didn't work so a small oil radiator had been placed in the room.
Staff were fab!
No room to move in room. View was non existent. Just a roof top factory.
Staff were lovely.
The mattress on my bed needed throwing out! The springs had gone. Had I noticed when I arrived I would have insisted on a new mattress or room but it was not until I got into it at about 11pm I discovered I was lying on the base. I told the staff in the morning and it was noted.
Fire alarm not going off at 3am, which meant we had to vacate and get very cold, turned out to be a false alarm, set off by disgruntled foreign worker, during a re-furb some 6 years ago.
The heating/cooling system, used an oil filled electric radiator which was in the room obviously in the room, cos the heat/cool system didn't work. How many rooms had the oil filled radiator added?
Breakfast good value for money,
Nothing to complain about
Unhelpful bar person
I thought the for the amount of money you charged te room was far too small there was hardly any room to turn around!
Staff location food bar quiet room comfy bed and a great nights stay
Myself and a friend booked premier inn for a last minute trip to Newcastle. The service was excellent, the staff were so friendly and helpful which was great as it was our first time in the city. Great location everything you need is within walking distance.
Central location, directly across from where the bus dropped me off.
Only 1 lift working, had a lengthy wait from the 5th floor each time due to this.
Hotel in a good location for city centre. Was down in newcastle for the football and the hotel was only a short walk to the ground.
Took a bit of time to find a space in the car park, but eventually managed to get a space.
Close to st James park and in city centre
The front line staff very helpfully and friendly specially the young guy with Spectacles......good breakfast...very near to Northumbria university...
Quite old hotel specially one lift was broke down the balance also quite slow...(Hopefully that should have been repaired now)
noisy air con
Staff really friendly and great location
Not particularly clean and lots of damage (our bathroom door had a patched up hole in it about 6 inches by 3inches). Mirror had no plug socket near it. Found out hotel was due to relocate so never bothered to complain as we were happy enough with room for the purpose of our visit
